Kaminarimon Gate
Kaminarimon, or the "Thunder Gate," serves as the iconic entrance to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. Flanking the gate are statues of Fujin, the god of wind, and Raijin, the god of thunder. Its massive red lantern, suspended in the center, makes it a well-known and highly photographed landmark.

5.00This walking tour was simple wonderful. It was really lovely to have all the intricate details explained that we might have otherwise overlooked. Hana-san, who guided us, was so friendly and kind. She even was able to tailor the experience a little to us specifically as we went along. At the end of the tour we were planning to get dinner and Hana gave us a great recommendation for nearby. It was an incredible atmosphere and we are so grateful to have experienced this.

5.00My friends and I were visiting Tokyo for a few days, but we were all worried about where to go and what to do. I am so glad that we decided on this tour! Not only was it informative, but it was fun and interesting as well. Our tour guide had a bubbly personality, and the overall atmosphere felt less like a tour and more like having a local friend guiding us around.
