Acropolis
This private tour will take you to all the must-see sights of Athens. If you are visiting Athens for the first time, this tour provides an excellent introduction to one of the greatest cities of the ancient world. Temple of Olympian Zeus
The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus, is a former colossal temple at the center of the Greece capital Athens. It was dedicated to "Olympian" Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC during the rule of the Athenian tyrants, who envisaged building the greatest temple in the ancient world, but it was not completed until the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD, some 638 years after the project had begun. During the Roman period the temple -that included 104 colossal columns- was renowned as the largest temple in Greece and housed one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world.

5.00Amazing experience on our private tour of Marathon and Cape Sounion! We coordinated the tour directly with Dionisis Kokkotos who was exceptionally professional and helpful. Our driver was Pete who had an exceptionally clean Mercedes van; and he was the perfect companion for the day, tour, and experience. The best way to recommend Tours of Athens: My wife and I did a big tour bus sunset tour of Cape Sounion in 2024. It was crowded and not much fun. This year we had a private trip with no one at the site for about the same money per person for our group of four. Bottom line: Tours of Athens is a fantastic experience and way to see the sites around Attica.

5.00Chris was our driver not only for our tour, but also as transport from the airport. He was so friendly, so accommodating, and so knowledgeable. We were able to tailor our tour to view what we wanted, including a visit to where one of our party used to live. This is such a stress-free way to visit such a busy city. 5.00Our party of 5 just returned from a tour of Athens and Cape Sounion with Athens Limo and guides provided by Dionisis. (This was a custom 2 day tour, not the pre-planned tour featured on Viator). We had a wonderful time and felt very safe and comfortable and left enthralled and well informed about everything we saw. My wife and I had toured Athens with Dionisis 12 years ago, and contacted him for this trip. He responded immediately and was very helpful and accommodating. In person he was just as charming as we remembered from years ago. Thanks, Dionisis!

5.00I have traveled many places around the world, but it took me this long to realize I've been short-changing myself in my approach to exploring a new city. Rather than waiting in lines, dragging ourselves up and down a Hop on Hop Off bus, and struggling to stick those audio devices in our ears, my traveling buddy and I were whisked from highlight to highlight by George, an extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable man. Even though we're not history buffs, we happily learned more about the Greek history behind each monument, for example, than either of us ever imagined we would know. It was fascinating! And you can't really put a price on the gift of stepping into a waiting air-conditioned Benz rather than struggling with other forms of transport.

5.00Vasilis was our driver for the day and he was the best tour guide. He was really knowledgeable giving us information along the route about certain archaeological sites. we really liked that this was a flexible tour allowing us to maximize our time at sites we were most interested in and to skip sites we had already seen. We never felt rushed and we were never taken anywhere solely for the financial gain of the tour operator, which is too often the case. We also met the owner. He was very attentive and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our tour. He also recommended Vasilis take us to Louizidis Restaurant for lunch and it was FANTASTIC and so was the price!!! Thanks Vasilis and Athens Limo Tours for a wonderful, unforgettable experience.

5.00Dionisis picked us up at the airport and took care of our arrangements for the week. We did several tours, he recommended excellent restaurants, and stayed with us from morning until we were ready to return to the hotel at night.

5.00Dennis was amazing! Took us all around the city, with special stops for those perfect photos. His English is perfect and picked out the best restaurant for lunch. Our entire group was delighted with the sightseeing and wonderful commentary provided. Such a great trip, can not wait to visit again!

5.00Dennis was amazing - he took 6 of us around to all of the cool places - palace, acropolis, downtown, temple of Zeus, shopping in plakka. His English is perfect, he is accommodating for pictures & pit stops and makes you feel at home in his country. We then went to the country side for a beautiful trip to Sounion - excellent time. He arranged for an amazing lunch of seafood. We were all so happy that we hired him again on Sunday!!!
