This is a Guided Tour to discover secluded beaches on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a 2 or 4 Seater BUGGY or a double ATV as well (driver + passenger) and ride together.

Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 1 ATVs or 1 Buggy.

The tour will start & finish the tour at The 506 Transfers & Tours Headquarters located at Huacas, the only Tour Company with a driving test ride. Once your training ride is concluded, and all your comfortable and ready, you’ll start your tour.

Playa Mina

Costa Rica is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches that are all around the coast. The Blackstone Beach is just the opposite, its a beautiful black sand beach. Next to the Blackstone Beach is also Playa Minas & Puerto Viejo (next to reserva conchal). We will visit 2 beaches based on the driving skills of the group.

This was such a fun experience and Fernando was an amazing guide! We stopped at two different beaches for 15-20 minutes. Both beaches were beautiful and had bars close by that you could grab a drink to cool down. You will want to bring something to cover your face or they have bandanas you can purchase for $5. I wore sunglasses and did get a lot of dirt in my eyes because the roads were very dry. They provide goggle that you should wear. The trip was well organized with pick up and drop off back at our resort. Highly recommend!

Friendly, professional and knowledable guide staff Mera made sure we had the best time. The tour was great and the location is fantastic. Mera and Gustavo made sure we had the best time. If you are going 4 wheeling , this is the place.

This was great. We went with a group of 10 and couples shared atv’s. It was lots of fun. Seeing so much of the back streets and they took us to two beautiful beaches. We went in mid May which was still dry season so it was super dusty. The guides were great and kept us safe and on track.

Great time taking the ATV tour with 506. First of all, many activities require you to drive over an hour away (in some cases, two hours away) but 506 is just minutes from Tamarindo! We went to two different beaches, drove through a variety of roads and a small river. Excellent customer service, competitive prices and ATV’s were in great condition.

Had a great experience with Reynols today. Was a well informed and nice tour guide. Made it feel like I was just riding atvs with my friends at home. Beautiful beaches and views we got to see. If you considering booking with them definitely do it. Everyone was nice and accommodating was a great experience.
