An excellent day trip to Rotorua. We had 11 passengers in our minivan. Good number. Our driver/guide Jaime was excellent - very friendly and accommodating. He had great knowledge on cultural and geographical/geological subjects. There was a rest break on the long drives in each direction. The two major sites visited were excellent with a good balance between nature and culture. A long day. highly recommended

Did the Rotorua tour today it was excellent - David the guide had great knowledge for the whole trip. The Mauri experience was really good to experience.

This activity is a must in New Zealand, our guide David was one of the best guide I’ve ever had, he really matters the job he does, interesting and funny guy, experienced guide, the mud pools are just outstanding, the tours around the geyser and the Maorí Show were amazing to see, 100% recommended tour without any doubt!

The guide arrived 20 minutes late in the morning. The microphone didn’t work so we couldn’t hear what was being said while being seated at the back of the bus, despite vocalizing that it didn’t work. Due to the delayed departure the guide rushed the first few stops and we barely had the opportunity to see anything. We arrived with only 20 minutes to buy and consume lunch before having to be at the haka performance. The te pui experience was the only highlight of the trip. Seeing the kiwis was so amazing, we loved it! We got lucky and when we arrived at the geysers they were erupting so it was an amazing sight to see. The ride back to the hotel was prolonged with an unnecessary stop. Overall average experience but overpriced. Te pui could’ve been done alone.

Our family had a wonderful time on this tour. The guide was accommodating to the wants and needs of our family members of all ages, especially attentive to our mom who had mobility issues. He also stopped at the rose garden before dropping us off at the end of the day. We enjoyed seeing the flowers and taking pics. The guide was very professional, and provided the history and information about the places visited, but not too much information to interrupt our family conversations. We would love to hire Expedigo again if come back to New Zealand. It was a pleasure traveling with them and highly highly recommend them.

What an amazing day in Rotorua! The geothermal sites were stunning, and learning about Māori village life and culture made the experience truly special. David was a fantastic guide—friendly, entertaining, and full of great stories. Everything was timed perfectly, and the day flowed effortlessly. This experience was even better than I had hoped for!
