Impressive Geysers and Maori traditions all in one!

5.00Nelson, our guide, was fabulous, waiting for late passengers and accommodating all our wants. A very complete tour with Geothermal springs, visiting a beautiful lake, learning about Maori traditions and watching their songs and dance, viewing of kiwi birds and Maori arts and crafts. I recommend it highly.

5.00Our tour guide Jamie was so kind and informative. He was telling us about everything in each area as we were going through them and giving us recommendations for food/activities you name it he had an answer for it. He also checked in frequently to make sure everyone was having a good time, had water and snacks, frequent bathroom breaks. And the actual tours were SO amazing!!!! You cant beat the views and stuff you get to experience on it. Would highly recommend if you are in the area and have the time.

5.00We had an excellent tour guided by Wayne. The van was immaculate, our pickup was on time, and Wayne provided water and snacks. He stopped at clean coffee shops and restrooms along the way, and provided commentary as we drove to our destination. The mud and sulphur pools were smelly but intriguing. The Maori stop was interesting as far as the Haka performance and tour of the school, but our Maori group guide talked too long at each stop, so we were unable to visit the actual village. Wayne drove us back to Auckland through some beautiful countryside and gave some options for dining in Auckland. It was a great day!

5.00The guide was kind and I enjoyed it all day! Recommended for those looking to take a day trip from Auckland. It's an English tour, but you don't have to understand English to get by.

5.00We loved the geothermal excursion what an amazing experience seeing the sulfur mist rising from the surface and the hot mud pits bubbling up the geyser went off when we got to the area. Watching the Mauori cultural song and dance. Our tour guide was Jamie he was knowledgeable and professional during our drive. The entire tour experience was pleasant we did not feel rushed whatsoever he stopped at appropriate times to allow us to stretch and take breaks which makes the trip very enjoyable!
