The Sky Tower is located on the corner of Victoria and Federal Street right in the heart of Auckland and operates 365 days of the year. It is recommended that you spend at least 1 hour at the Auckland Sky Tower to really enjoy all there is to offer! Experience cut short for private function !!!!!

1.00SHUT EARLY YET STILL TOOK FULL PAYMENT VERY DISAPPOINTED AS THERE WAS NO WARNING UNTIL AFTER I HAD PURCHASED MY TICKET THAT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS GOING TO CLOSE EARLY @ 17:30 pm for a Private Function. The bar was closing 15 minutes after I arrived at that level and then the next level was only open for 15 minutes so that was all the to had on the top level. I had gone up there specifically upon recommendation from other people and your description on Viator. I feel that I am entitled to a REFUND PLEASE.

2.00Our group arrived, in the queue, to have a drink in the sky tower at 17.05, we were told we had till 17.15 to get in. The plan was to have a drink at sunset. We were advised there was a private function on, so had to be out pretty quickly. There were no seats in the bar and as we had very little time, there was no point getting a drink. Make sure there are no private functions on, as in my opinion it’s not worth the price. Otherwise it would’ve been great.

3.00There were beautiful views but not sure the time spent is worth the money. If you plan to sit and look out for awhile it might be better.
