Unlike standard Northern Lights tours, this adults-only experience takes you deep into Lapland’s wilderness in the middle of the night — the time when aurora activity is often at its strongest, long after typical tours have ended.

Hosted by Arctic Midnight Group, a small local company, this experience gives you exclusive access to a private wilderness cabin hidden deep in the forest. Here, you won’t just look for the Northern Lights — you’ll feel them. Warm up by the open fire, enjoy traditional Lapland snacks and tea, and take part in small symbolic rituals inspired by old northern beliefs. Our professional guides also capture high-quality photos under the Auroras, ensuring everyone leaves with both memories and meaning.

It’s a late-night, atmospheric experience combining photography, folklore and true Lapland mysticism — something you won’t find on any bus tour.

Our small, international group was superbly supervised by the German guide Tim. Tim had an honest interest in every single guest, made sure we all felt comfortable and safe, told competently about the Northern Lights, took professional aurora photos with each participant. We were able to enjoy this impressive natural event in peace and quiet and received our pictures directly at the end of the tour (at no extra cost). On a riverbank in the woods, a cosy cabin serves traditional hot drinks and small snacks. Next to that, every guest can sit in a kota at an open fire pit and perhaps learn how tedious it is to light a fire without modern tools. Those who book here with their children: Tim gives them the same attention at eye level and involves the children entirely. On the way back the tour was not over for Tim! Several stops were made and Aurora-Lights was looked for. Many thanks Tim for this impressive experience!!

We've had such a great night watching Nothern lights and shooting stars. Toni is a very funny and welcoming guide. We enjoyed eating hot dogs and drinking glögi. 🫖 Many thanks for the experience ! 🌌🌠
