Too hot for a regular bike tour? Wanna experience Austin in a new and exciting way? This ELECTRIC bike tour is for you! Check out Austin's favorite murals, landmarks, and history on this journey propelled by a pedal-assist E-bike. The " I love you so much" wall, Barton Springs pool, South Congress, downtown, and much more are all within reach! Halfway through the tour, we do stop for coffee/ beer/ snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot.

Barton Springs Bike Rentals & Tours
Customers arrive at Barton Springs Bike Rental & Tours 15 minutes prior to tour start time. They will then be fitted to a pedal-assist electric bike, and go over the operations and safety. The tour begins by heading towards the famous Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park area. Up next is the Stevie Ray Vaughan Memorial and the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. Then head into south Austin to check out the "Greetings from Austin" and the very popular " I love you so much" murals. The breathtaking views of the Austin Skyline from South Congress will lead the tour into downtown. Here the customers will ride through the town heading towards the Congress Bridge, home of the bats, & state capitol. Halfway through the tour, we do stop for coffee/ snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot. All bikes are included in the price as well as water during and after the tour. Helmets are required. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes for bike riding and your camera for all the great photo opportunities.

5.00Bosch bikes. 4 levels of assistance on the bikes. I basically kept mine in Sport mode or Turbo mode. Makes going uphill very easy. The bikes are very easy to learn to ride. Our guide was Michael. He made sure the bikes fit everyone and gave opportunity to practice changing gears and pedal assistance in the parking lot across from the bike store before we set out. Covers A LOT of ground so sometimes it's a bit fast. At no time did we fear for our safety. Saw a lot of things we would not have seen otherwise. Way better that a bus tour. It is very easy for me to recommend this particular tour because we enjoyed it very much. You will too. Book it!! Have no concerns. Includes helmet and bottled water. Very cool.

5.00Best way to see a city and Austin was wonderful! Rob was our tour guide and he was friendly, funny, flexible and we just really dug the whole tour. Make sure to show up early it gives you time to get your bike orientation and get going on time so that you can make the most of your day. Terrific experience!

5.00I had a great bicycle tour of the city with Peter. With cycled through various neighbourhoods and on to the Capitol. He was a font of local and historical information. I don’t have much time on this trip to explore and this was a brilliant and fun way to see and learn a lot quickly. I can highly recommend it for anyone who loves to be active, see and learn.

5.00It was a great experience from beginning to end. The ride was on equal parts dedicated bike paths through the Austin park system and on dedicated bike lanes on city thoroughfares. Occasionally we rode on quiet streets with very little traffic. We stopped at regular intervals to hear detailed and interesting descriptions of various points of interest . Michael, our tour guide, had a wealth of information which he shared effectively and completely. He was at all times professional and appeared to be concerned with our safety, our comfort and our enjoyment. He’s just a good guy and great ambassador for the city of Austin, Texas. Thanks Mike !

5.00Rob was an awesome tour guide. Loved the tour. It was a great way to experience Austin. There was a lot to see. Particularly loved all of the trails, zigzagging all through areas of high interest.

5.00Fun, informative. Toby was very nice. Since he was a local he was able to share some of his unique experiences living and growing up in Austin. Ride was just the right length. Saw parts of austin you miss just going out to eat BbQ
