5.00Since we only had a short stay from the ship, we specifically searched for a suitable activity and came across the cooking class at Jaguar Cafe – a really great decision. The course was super organized and really fun. Together with the owner or cook we prepared tortillas, which was not only interesting but also very entertaining. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, the service top and the quality also outstanding. It was particularly positive that everything adapted flexibly to our ship times – which made the process much more relaxed for us. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the morning very much. Especially considering that the beach in Costa Maya itself is not special and you are often approached there, this was the best decision for us. For the few hours it was a really successful and fun experience that we can absolutely recommend.

5.00Absolutely one of the best excursions we have booked. After much research I selected this for a group of 4 adults. We were greeted with friendly smiles upon arrival. There were a total of 8 people which was perfect. We made chicken tacos el-pastor including making our own tortillas. Food was great and everyone was very attentive. We didn’t want to leave…after a few shots of tequila we said adiós. We can’t wait to return and try another class.

5.00This was the perfect excursion from my cruise. I booked the day before for me and my wife. We decided to talk on the way here but will be taking a taxi back. We loved talking to the instructors and they kept the conversation flow smoothly. Drinks were great, food was 10/10. I make a lot of Tex Mex at home so I was familiar but long from authentic. They teach you how to make everything you eat. Wonderful experience and could not recommend more.

5.00What a wonderful cooking class! The setting was steps away from the beach. The food we prepared was delicious and plentiful. The chefs and owner were very friendly and shared their passion for the local cuisine. The company, the food and drinks options made this an experience I would repeat again. It is a short cab ride from the pier for $5.00/ person/ one way to the downtown area where the restaurant is located.
