This guided bike tour takes you beyond Kutaisi's city streets and into the peaceful world of Georgian local life. Cycle quiet roads through rolling hills, traditional homes, open fields, riversides and forest paths — with plenty of stops for views and stories.

We’ll start from our bike shop in Kutaisi, choose a comfortable mountain, city bike or E-bike and set off on a relaxed couple-hours ride designed for all levels of cyclists.

This is not a fast-paced or technical tour — it’s made for travelers of all fitness levels.

Bagrati Cathedral

Bagrati Cathedral was built in the 11th century, and despite being attacked and destroyed twice, it stands strong, showing the resilience of the Georgian spirit. Along with being a significant religious site, Bagrati has stunning views over Kutaisi and the mountains.

Meet the river Rioni, mentioned several times in ancient Greek philosophy, which originates in the Caucasus mountains and joins the black sea. Rioni is a very unpredictable and sometimes aggressive river, so there a few water dams, on this tour we will see one of them.

Today mixed tour done in Kutaisi center, botanical garden and Ksaltubo. Good quality bikes. Our young guide did his best to give us as much explanation as possible.
