4.00Emmanuel was our tour guide and was fantastic. I loved his anecdotes and knowledge of the local cuisine. He was very engaging while keeping us on pace. The only reason for not giving 5 stars, is our daughter and I arrived at 10:32 and they had already left. We had an issue with the metro and messaged customer service as soon as we realized we were going to be a couple minutes late. The agreement clearly states they will wait for 5 minutes past the meeting time. They did not do that, even after letting them know what had happened. We were able to catch up but it made for a hectic start to the tour.

5.00We were not even expecting to be in Paris, having had a last-minute change of destination when weather cancelled our flight to New York but were delighted to find Secret Food Tours available when we arrived and booked the Notre Dame Food Tour (just under 4 hours). Matt was an outstanding guide. He shared so much engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining insight about Paris landmarks and culture — which made the experience even more memorable. Every single food stop was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully chosen. I won’t spoil the surprise, but the Secret Dish was a personal revelation for me! It’s safe to say I’ll be buying that again in the future. Also really appreciated the detailed follow-up email we received after the tour. I’ll definitely be saving it for future visits—it was packed with helpful advice on where to eat, drink, and explore. Thank you, Matt, for such a wonderful time!

5.00I would recommend this tour 100% for folks wanting to learn more about French wines and cheeses and just day to day foods you will see while visiting Paris and France more broadly. It is a perfect intro that doesn’t go too deep into any catergory but is great at giving you a nice overview. Also, a relaxing way to share with fellow travelers.

5.00Lena was a great guide! We left very full and with more information on French food! This tour we stopped at different shops to pick up the items and then sat around a family style table to try all the items picked up, which we enjoyed!
