This was a fun and interactive experience. I really enjoyed learning the history of sumo wrestling then getting to meet and train with two wrestlers. The training activities were both authentic and fun, and it was great to challenge the wrestlers.

Tour guide spoke excellent English and had a nice PowerPoint to accompany the history lessons. Wrestlers were fun and jovial and eager to teach as well. Great experience.

Sumo wrestling is one of Japan's most secretive sport and there are very few tours that offer such a genuine sumo experience like this one. This is one of the best tours I had the fortune of attending during my last holiday in Tokyo! Our tour guide, Lily, was lovely, spoke great english and was very knowledgeable about sumo wrestling and was very passionate about this ancient sport. I learned a lot about the history of sumo, got to meet with experienced wrestlers and had a chance to duke it out in the ring. The sumo's were so friendly and nice and were more than willing to answer any questions about their passion. I highly recommend this to anyone who wishes to learn more about sumo and would like a genuine sumo experience.
