Our mission is to reach the top of the highest mountain in Vidigal, the big brother among the 2 brothers.
We go up on foot through the real labyrinth that is the Vidigal favela, which is undoubtedly the most immersive and culturally shocking way to do it.
Favelas are unique places, that are sort of like a ghetto or slum. Let's get an idea of how is the daily life of the residents, discover bars, parks and typical Brazilian street food. So you will also get exposed to a side of Brazil not many tourists see.
Arriving at the entrance to the trail, it takes another 50 minutes way up, now in the middle of nature and with several lookouts that provide beautiful views of the city, the sea, beaches, and forests, in addition to having a true cabin with a Rocinha view. (largest favela in Latin America).
Upon reaching the top, the view is simply cinematic.
The way back is also an exciting motorcycle adventure at good speed through the alleys.
Please note that is it forbidden to take photos and videos in Vidigal. This is why you will not find it here. So this tour is halfway secret. If you want to know what Vidigal is like, please contact us to book this tour.

We hike crossing the entire favela, getting to know bars, hostel, square, schools, view points.

5.00All good the experience. Very good vibes, Deivid. Nose climbing requires a certain physical condition to take into account the one I hired. But if they go up slowly it's complicated.

5.00This was the second I did with aventurismo because I enjoyed the sugarloaf mountain one so much! Seeing and learning about the favela was so interesting and the view from the top of the two brothers was incredible! Fun day out highly recommend!

5.00I am thrilled with the guide and the tour. Everything was very intense, we looked at life in the favelas, climbed the mountain, and took great photos, the guide was always supportive when it was difficult for me, so he is also a philosopher and psychologist in one person! After we tried street food, in general I was definitely satisfied! Recommended!

5.00My friends and I took a sunrise walk with Rafael to the two brothers and through Vidigal. Rafael explained a lot during the tour. We felt safe at all times. In addition to the view, the breakfast at the bakery was incredible.

5.00Very interesting day walking through the Favelas for starting the Tour to the two brothers with Rafael our Guide ! Very good few ! After return to Vidigal in the mittle of town take motor bike taxi ( highlight 😂

5.00It was a really nice tour! Rafael was a great guide. Everything was super safe and Rafael explained a lot to our group, especially about life in favelas and explained very well about prevailing stereotypes. The climb was a little strenuous but it was a lot of fun and at the end we had a great view as our group rounded off the tour in the restaurant 😊
