Gibbston Valley Winery
The first stop of the day is at the iconic Gibbston Valley Winery. Gibbston Valley is one of the region's founding wineries and it's here that we will join a guided tour through New Zealand's largest underground wine cave and enjoy tastings of some of their world-famous wines.
Kinross is our second stop and a fantastic location to try a range of different wines across multiple labels. Along with producing their own wines, their cellar door host will also showcase wines from smaller producers and share their incredible stories of how they came to be. After your wine tasting, we allow extra time to enjoy lunch. Kinross has a range of delicious dishes on its menu, including pizzas, platters, smaller bites, and mains. This is ordered and paid directly on the day, giving you the flexibility to order what you would like based on your taste and budget.

5.00I’ve done several wine tours and Altitude’s Wine Tour is definitely the best. It’s a really full day of tasting incredible wines from really high quality wineries. The wine experts who guided us were really top notch and informative. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed and friendly. I was really impressed! Shout out to Lee for being an amazing tour guide and for helping to make this experience so enjoyable. I 10/10 recommend!

5.00This is a great way to see the best of what Queenstown has to offer in terms of wineries over one day. There are tastings at every winery and each has their own look and feel. You'll be spoilt with knowledge and comfort as the guide drives you to each location providing tidbits and history about the region. Katy was a fantastic guide - always smiley, patient and very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

5.00This wine tour is honestly the best wine tour myself and my family have ever done. We had the phenomenal Lee as our tour guide, and she went above and beyond to create an incredible experience for everyone involved. Her care to detail and incredible vibes made the day a breeze and so much fun! (The wineries were also amazing!) If you are looking for a wine tour to do with friends or family, I cannot recommend this enough - especially if you’re lucky enough to get Lee as your guide! We will 100% be booking again!

5.00Beth was an amazing guide, her customer service skills, knowledge and sense of humour added to the trip. We visited 4 vineyards and the quality, variety and knowledge of the staff far surpassed our expectations, tasting 18 plus wines. It was an incredible experience and we would highly recommend Altitude tours. Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

5.00Really fantastic. Amy our guide was brilliant at opening up conversation between the group early to help break the ice. Gorgeous vineyards and ample wine tour try! Delicious spot for lunch too. Very easy travelling too. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
