This was a wonderful tour, perhaps our favorite so far in Buenos Aires. (It was the Jewish Heritage Walking tour.) Our guide, Candela, was warm & friendly, and full of interesting stories & facts. Each stop of the tour covered a different aspect of Jewish life & history in Argentina. But Candela also provided us with insight into Argentinian culture, as well as recommendations on other places to go & things to do during our stay in the city. This tour is well worth the time & money, and most importantly, it was fun & interesting.

It was an amazing experience. As travelers one always visits churches and cathedrals. This tour focussed on the Jewish experience in Argentina, and included a visit to the Jewish Museum, the large centrally located synagogue, and two sites where Jews were targeted by bombers. Argentina has the fifth largest Jewish population in the world and a storied history of immigration, and it was a pleasure to spend some time learning about it. We ended the day at Recoleta Cemetery, in the late afternoon when it was a tad cooler on a broiling day. (Only one Jewish person is buried there. ) The cemetery is another tourist attraction, but it was large enough to absorb the visitors so that there were moments of solitude. All in all, a good tour, and our guide Fernando was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.
