  Ali our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He’s a local of the country and gave excellent information about the history and the culture. I would recommend this tour to anyone first time visiting the county or if you work here and want to learn more

  Hello, great experience with this local agency. They were helpful, very kind and made us see the most beautiful things in Bahrain and spend pleasure time that we would have otherwise thrown at the airport. I highly recommend.

  Our guide Ali was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The tour was well worth the experience and we enjoyed the pace of the tour and the places that showcased Bahrain during our visit

  What an incredible tour! I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. After reading the glowing reviews, I decided to book, and I’m so glad I did, they did not disappoint. My guide, Hadi, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history and cultural significance of every stop, answering all my questions with clear and passionate explanations. His love for Bahrain was infectious, making me appreciate the country’s past, present, and future in a new light. He was personable, easygoing, and had a wonderfully quirky sense of humor that kept me entertained the entire time. I felt like I not only toured the city but also made a friend. The vehicle was comfortable and well-maintained. It would have been a bonus to have a multi-adapter phone charger for those who didn’t have a chance to charge up beforehand as I did. It took a moment to find the meeting spot since the airport signage could be clearer, but I eventually realized to exit through Door 2, cross the first lane, and wait by the C2 sign on the second curb. Pre-trip communication was excellent as I received plenty of emails and WhatsApp messages, which reassured me that everything would go smoothly. My flight arrived early, and they were quick to accommodate a request to start the adventure sooner. Overall, I had an outstanding experience, and I highly recommend this tour!

  My colleague and I were in Bahrain for work, and had only a very limited window (4 hours!) in which we could explore this beautiful and fascinating country. On very last minute notice, Ishtar Gate was able to arrange a private tour, which gave us a great introduction. Our guide (Hadi) was incredible and we are hoping very much to return. And when we do - we'd love for Hadi show us more of Bahrain - there is so much to see and do here.

  I had a wonderful introduction to Bahrain’s history and local culture—including local foods—during a half-day tour with Ali. His is one of the most knowledgeable guides I have toured with and I appreciated his flexibility in seeing additional sites in which I was interested.
