Puseh Batuan Temple
The Batuan temple is considered as the oldest temple in Bali Island. This temple was designed with Balinese ornaments and the roof was made from the fiber of the coconut tree with black color. The temple location is strategic, which is on the side of the main road that connected Denpasar to Ubud. For over than a thousand of year, Batuan has transformed into the artist and craftsmen village, old legend, and also mysterious stories.The Batuan temple was built in the year of 944 Isaka or 1020 AD. Almost 1000 years old, this temple can be categorized as Puseh temple according to the concept of “Tri Kahyangan or Tri Murti”. This is also makes this temple as the oldest temple in Bali island.

5.00We had a fantastic day being shown round Bali. Our driver Nyoman Adnyana was an exceptional guide, he picked us up on time from our cruise ship, we had an 8 hour tour with lunch and then dropped back to the ship. I would highly recommend this tour and Nyoman was great!

5.00The tour gives a great overview of Bali when you only have one day. Jose gave us a very informative insight into the life and culture of the island. We were on a cruise, so time limited, and he made sure we were back to the ship at the time we asked for. He was a very skilled driver who negotiated the traffic with a lot of knowledge.

5.00Amazing experience. Our driver Nata was so kind and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. He stayed with us the whole day and was full of information about local life etc. would not hesitate to recommend. We were kept informed of arrangements throughout from booking our trip to arriving in port to meeting our driver Nata.

5.00Jun was an excellent driver and a knowledgable guide for all things Balinese - culture, history and people! He found unique destination that were not overly crowded and hidden gems we had not discovered on prior visits. Highly recommend Jun if you are curious to thoroughly discover this beautiful island.
