4:00 am - 4:40 am - We will pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City and transfer to the balloon port in Teotihuacán

6:00 am -Then we will move to the take-off area where you can see the balloon inflation process, we will give you time to take photos and videos. 6:30 am - Your magical experience of flying in a balloon over the Teotihuacán Valley will begin. The duration of the flight is 40 to 60 minutes depending on weather conditions. 7:20 am - Upon landing we will make a toast that is tradition when flying in a balloon and we will give you a flight certificate as a souvenir.

1.00The actual hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacán was very cool and one of the highlights of my trip. Unfortunately, almost everything before and after it was a headache. Pickup bait-and-switch: When I booked, pickup from my location was included. Less than 24 hours before the tour, they told me my address wasn’t in their service area and I’d need to pay extra or meet somewhere else. This should have been clear before I paid. Surprise pyramid ticket charge: Nowhere in the confirmation they sent did it say I’d have to buy my own ticket to the pyramids. I only found out after we were taken to a so-called “artisan” stop — which was really a tourist trap selling the same mass-produced items I’ve seen in Cancun. Wasted time + aggressive sales stop: The obsidian “lesson” was clearly a setup for aggressive vendors, and it cut into time we could’ve spent at the pyramids. Return time way off: The tour said “approx. 1 PM return.” We didn’t get back until after 4 PM because of a road closure — something a company that does this multiple times a week should know to plan for. Drop-off chaos: The driver didn’t drop people off in pickup order. I was the first person picked up but was going to be dropped off last, so I just got out at the first stop to avoid another hour in the van. The balloon ride itself was incredible and worth doing — just book with a different company so you can enjoy it without all the nonsense around it.

5.00Sergio promptly picked us up in a nice van, drove safely, where we then proceeded to take a 1h drive to the grounds. Gerardo explained everything very well and was very attentive to our needs. Luis, the photographer took excellent pictures to remember this experience. Miseal was our pilot, we rode for about 45 mins, got a great view of the pyramids. I would have preferred that he spoke more English as we chose the English option. Overall I had a great experience!

5.00Brilliant experience! We had a great time with Saul (tour guide) and Sergio (our driver) - the communication was excellent and everything ran really smoothly. The balloon ride was amazing and visiting the pyramids was really interesting.

5.00This was so fun. The early pick up time was rough but it ended up being a great day. The drop of off was early in the afternoon so we still had time to rest and go out again in the city
