Dunkeld
Dunkeld is a picturesque town situated on the banks of the beautiful River Tay. Dunkeld has a rich historic and cultural heritage, being an early centre of Celtic Christianity. It was largely rebuilt in the 18th century after being destroyed during the Jacobite uprisings, and nowadays has a selection of lovely independent shops and cafes, making for a perfect break on our journey north to Balmoral.
We will stop at the Devil's Elbow carpark viewpoint, where you will be able to take in the stunning scenery of the valley and road below.

If you like British history and especially the reigns of Queen Victoria onwards, you must visit Balmoral. So beautiful and deeply touching.
