5.00I decided to go on the Cao Bang Loop because I wanted a more authentic experience, off the beaten path and this is exactly what I got! 😍 I did the 3 nights, 2 days tour. Josh helped me organize everything, the transportation from Hanoi to Cao Bang and back as well as the tour over there. The organization was just impeccable! He made things super easy for me and I felt well taken care of. When I arrived in Cao Bang with the night bus, after resting for a few hours in the homestay, the driver Tan was waiting for me to pick me up and start the tour. I got a private tour! We stopped at all the main landmarks as well as some other places that were more hidden gems. Tan is a local and knows his way around Cao Bang like the palm of his hand. We went of course to the famous God's Eye Mountain, we went on 2 different hikes with spectacular views, we visited an incense village, an artisan knife maker, traditional houses from ethnic minorities, we went to see the Động Ngườm Ngao cave and of course the famous waterfalls at the border with China. We ate great food! I'm a vegetarian so I was a bit worried that this was going to get lost in translation but it was of course not a problem. Josh made sure to inform everyone and Tan always bought yummy veggie options for me. Regarding the driving, the roads are all paved and I felt very safe the whole time. Cao Bang is a stunning place and so far not many tourists (I was often the only one!). I definitely recommend this tour for those who want a more genuine experience!

5.00It worth every pennies of mine. The city is not touristy, the waterfall was unbelievable breathtaking. I enjoyed every moment of the trip. But the locals cannot speak English, so it was hard asking for directions and ordering food.

5.00Have been in Ha Giang Loop, But this place is so much different. SUPER THANKS to Josh - he was so helpful and gave me all the informations I needed for this trip. The waterfall was breathtaking, the landscape was unbelievable stunning!

5.00Can’t believe there is a place like this in the North of Vietnam. The nature was breathtaking, the local was super friendly and helpful. They speak decent English. This place is such a hidden gem. Worth every pennies of mine. Even better than Ha Giang Loop 😁✨
