Exploring at night and by the iconic tuk tuk is a great way to discover Bangkok and learn about the local culture.
This is considered a cultural tour, sightseeing with food at local restaurant.
***Do not misunderstood this tour with our fully food focused "Bangkok Evening Street Food Tuk Tuk Adventure" which is more suitable for someone looking for street food experience.***
On this 4-hour tour you will:
• Whizz around Bangkok in a tuk tuk
• Visit The Flower Market, the grounds of Wat Prayoon, and Chinatown
• Explore the historic part of Bangkok, and see famous temples and sights illuminated at night
• Enjoy snacks, dinner and a dessert!
This tour is available in 2 options:
• Small group join in tour with maximum 12 guests (available daily)
• Private Tour for just yourself (suitable for families with young children).

We meet at a BTS (Skytrain) Station as traffic in the evening can be bad. Strongly encourage guests to take the Skytrain / Public Transport to our meeting point
Please Note: Temples buildings are usually closed at night but the atmosphere in the grounds are special.
Some walking is involved through markets and around temples
This tour is suitable for vegetarians. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
This is an alcohol free tour and please be aware that it is illegal to drink in the tuk tuk. We reserve the right to stop the tour if there is drunken behaviour. We do provide soft drinks throughout the tour.
Minimum age of 10 years old for small group tour option. Children are allowed on private tours but must buy a ticket if over 5.: This is an evening cultural tour and will finish about 11pm so it is not advisable for young children.
If it rains it is more fun: We run the tour throughout the year and have never had to cancel a tour due to rain. If it rain we have ponchos, rain covers and umbrellas. You may get a little wet but if you bring a positive attitude you may discover it is even more memorable:
Changes to itinerary: The restaurants and food stores we eat at may vary from day to day depending on what's open.
There are 2 people per tuk tuk. If you book as 3 or 5 people you may have 3 people in 1 tuk tuk. If you book as an individual you may share with another guest.
For join-in tour option: This is a small group tour limited to 10 people per group.
Due to COVID this tour has not been run regularly and will be constantly reviewed to ensure the best experience. Wat Pho is currently closed at night and has been changed to Wat Arun. It is possible they will switch back.
Not recommended for travelers with walking difficulties

Thonburi
For this tour your will need to make your way to our meeting point at Krung Thonburi BTS Station. Here you will meet your guide, who will introduce the tour before you hop into your tuk-tuk (2 or 3 people per tuk tuk). Krung Thonburi is the first station when you cross over the river to the Thonburi side of Bangkok. Thonburi has a much more local feel and we will explore both local life and history on this side of the river before crossing over to the historic area of Rattanakosin.
Wongwian Yai area
We will stop at a local street food market area to sample a selection of snacks and learn about the local way of life and culture.

5.00What a wonderful evening tour with Jib and her lovely tuk tuk driver! We loved every minute of it - driving through the streets of Bangkok and seeing so many beautifully illuminated buildings and temples, walking through the food and flower markets, visiting the Buddhist temple and grounds at Wat Prayurawongsawas, eating the most delicious Pad Thai for dinner and finally dessert in Chinatown. Jib spoke great English, was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. She selected various snacks in the street food market for us and even gave us flowers at the end of our tour. Cold water was provided in the tuk tuk too. I cannot recommend this tour, or Jib, highly enough. We chose to do a private tour, which worked well for us and was worth every penny of the cost. Thank you so much, Jib, and Expique.

5.00We had a fantastic night out on this tour with a great group of people. Our driver was Kevin and he was very good – we felt very safe in his TukTuk. Overall, the experience is great, visiting different places and trying different foods – the meal in the restaurant was especially good. We visited some temples, markets, the flower market (which was amazing) and ended up in Chinatown which was just bustling with people and had a great vibe – a great place to be. 5.00Jazzy was such a delightful and detailed tour guide! I really enjoyed all of the stops and the food selections were great. It was like killing 3 birds with one stone: we got to see multiple temples & landmarks, take a Tuk Tuk, and eat from a solid selection of market vendors! We felt like it was well worth the value and a great activity to do on your first night in Bangkok to get a lay of the land.

5.00Sensational tour - really good and very plentiful food (go hungry!!!), stunning sights, great, fun, commentary throughout from Tony and his crew of tuk tuk drivers who were all really lovely people (watching one of them quietly and discretely feeding a stray cat (he clearly does so every night) was a highlight). I love a good city tour and this was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Real 5 stars plus

4.00I think we would have enjoyed this more as a private tour than small group. A lot of time was spent taking photos of everyone. We made some interesting food stops although the one in China Town was very loud and crowded while we waited on our dessert. We did have dinner at the rather famous Thipsamai and people were lined up out the door waiting to eat there. The tuktuks are a rather loud way to go around the city.

5.00If you’re visiting Bangkok, the Bangkok Night Lights Tuk Tuk Tour is the perfect introduction to the city and an incredibly unique way to explore it after dark. Riding through the streets in a tuk tuk felt like such an authentic experience and made traveling between each stop fun and exciting. Our guide, Tony, was absolutely phenomenal. The entire tour was clearly very well thought out, and every stop felt intentional and insightful. Tony shared so much history along the way and answered every question we had with enthusiasm and knowledge. The temple stop was especially memorable. Tony explained the historical significance in a way that made it truly come alive. The flower market was also fascinating and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The food stops were another highlight of the evening. Tony introduced us to several Thai dishes and took the time to explain each one, which made the experience even more meaningful and helped us learn more about Thai cuisine. Overall, this tour was hands down phenomenal and one of the best experiences we had in Bangkok. Tony made the night unforgettable. **1000/10 recommend!
