Exploring at night and by the iconic tuk tuk is a great way to discover Bangkok and learn about the local culture.
This is considered a cultural tour, sightseeing with food at local restaurant.
***Do not misunderstood this tour with our fully food focused "Bangkok Evening Street Food Tuk Tuk Adventure" which is more suitable for someone looking for street food experience.***
On this 4-hour tour you will:
• Whizz around Bangkok in a tuk tuk
• Visit The Flower Market, the grounds of Wat Prayoon, and Chinatown
• Explore the historic part of Bangkok, and see famous temples and sights illuminated at night
• Enjoy snacks, dinner and a dessert!
This tour is available in 2 options:
• Small group join in tour with maximum 12 guests (available daily)
• Private Tour for just yourself (suitable for families with young children).

We meet at a BTS (Skytrain) Station as traffic in the evening can be bad. Strongly encourage guests to take the Skytrain / Public Transport to our meeting point
Please Note: Temples buildings are usually closed at night but the atmosphere in the grounds are special.
Some walking is involved through markets and around temples
This tour is suitable for vegetarians. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
This is an alcohol free tour and please be aware that it is illegal to drink in the tuk tuk. We reserve the right to stop the tour if there is drunken behaviour. We do provide soft drinks throughout the tour.
Minimum age of 10 years old for small group tour option. Children are allowed on private tours but must buy a ticket if over 5.: This is an evening cultural tour and will finish about 11pm so it is not advisable for young children.
If it rains it is more fun: We run the tour throughout the year and have never had to cancel a tour due to rain. If it rain we have ponchos, rain covers and umbrellas. You may get a little wet but if you bring a positive attitude you may discover it is even more memorable:
Changes to itinerary: The restaurants and food stores we eat at may vary from day to day depending on what's open.
There are 2 people per tuk tuk. If you book as 3 or 5 people you may have 3 people in 1 tuk tuk. If you book as an individual you may share with another guest.
For join-in tour option: This is a small group tour limited to 10 people per group.
Due to COVID this tour has not been run regularly and will be constantly reviewed to ensure the best experience. Wat Pho is currently closed at night and has been changed to Wat Arun. It is possible they will switch back.

Thonburi
For this tour your will need to make your way to our meeting point at Krung Thonburi BTS Station. Here you will meet your guide, who will introduce the tour before you hop into your tuk-tuk (2 or 3 people per tuk tuk). Krung Thonburi is the first station when you cross over the river to the Thonburi side of Bangkok. Thonburi has a much more local feel and we will explore both local life and history on this side of the river before crossing over to the historic area of Rattanakosin.
Wongwian Yai area
We will stop at a local street food market area to sample a selection of snacks and learn about the local way of life and culture.

3.00The Tuk Tuk ride/driver was very helpful and lovely. It was raining so missed out on some of the tour. It all seemed very rushed. One of the party was vegetarian and has a coconut allergy and the guide had to be reminded of this several times. Also was taken back to wrong hotel at the end (was then taken to the right one) Don’t think the weather helped. The flower market was amazing but felt we didn’t get time to look at the amazing displays it was rush rush rush. Maybe on a different day it may have been different.

5.00Our host Jazz is funny, highly knowledgeable and a bit of a rock star. The only skill he lacks is weather forecasting, as the rain that he promised would stop in 10 minutes never really went away. Never mind though, as his highly entertaining tour is fabulous and offers delicious highlights, come rain or shine. A terrific way to see the great parts of this amazing city. Kudos too to Expique for smoothly transitioning us to a later group when crazy Friday pm traffic saw us miss our original start time.

5.00We had an incredible time with Kung. She brought a fun and relaxed vibe to the evening, while also being detailed and informative. We visited a variety of locations that shared insight into Bangkok's unique history and culture. The food spots that Kung brought us to were also delicious, and taking in this marvelous city from the tuk tuk is a treat. Would highly recommend!

5.00Kung was a phenomenal tour guide. She was informative and chatty. All the spots she brought us to were wonderful. The food we ate was absolutely delicious. Kung was easy to talk to, very kind and funny. We had an amazing evening exploring Bangkok with her. Our tuktuk driver was also very lovely but we never got his name! 5.00The tour was an absolute highlight of our trip and Sasa, our guide for the night was absolutely fabulous! We tried food we definitely would not have found (and maybe not even tried if we did) without this tour. Not only did Sasa have all of the local knowledge to tell us, she also had great recommendations for the rest of our trip.

5.00We had a fantastic tuk tuk tour of Bangkok with our family – myself, my husband, and our two sons (aged 20 and 22). Our guide, Sa Sa, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city. She shared so much interesting information throughout the tour and made the experience both fun and informative. We saw so much of Bangkok in a short space of time, and it was a wonderful way to experience the city's culture, history, and atmosphere. The highlights for me were definitely the flower market and Chinatown, both of which were vibrant, fascinating, and unlike anything we'd seen before. Another memorable part of the tour was the delicious Pad Thai we enjoyed at a local restaurant – it was absolutely amazing and one of the best meals we had during our stay. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. Thank you, Sa Sa, for making our experience so special!

5.00We were stuck in the horrible Bangkok traffic and almost missed the tour. Communication between the outfitter was excellent. Our tuk tuk waited for us and quickly caught up. Our local Sasha was excellent. She certainly knew the area and provided a very fun experience. Dinner was delicious. Definitely recommend!

5.00Great experience!! The perfect activity to do our first night in Bangkok to get acquainted with the city, receive tips on how to spend our time, and see a variety of different sights. We loved the food, the ease of logistics and Jib was an amazing guide.
