When we are gathered, let's get to know each other. Then, prepare to immerse yourself in Shinjuku's drinking street, known as Memory Lane. We'll start at Memory Lane and explore the nostalgic Showa-era taverns. You'll enjoy the atmospheric contrast compared to the bustling business district of Kabukicho in Shinjuku. In Memory Lane, you'll also get a glimpse of Shinjuku's history. Let's walk down this street, allowing your imagination to wander towards the background of how this lane came into existence and the daily lives of the people back then! Since it's not always easy to come across retro scenes, We recommend capturing them in photographs! We will stop by one of the pubs and enjoy some Japanese street food, such as skewered meat (Yakitori), beer stew, or seafood. Also, you will find the iconic Highball, an alcoholic beverage originating from this very place. Let's enjoy local foods and drinks here.

Kabukicho District

Afterward, we'll make our way to Kabukicho, Japan's premier red-light district. As you step into Kabukicho, you'll be mesmerized by the vibrant neon-lit streets, restaurants, bars, and karaoke clubs. Immerse yourself in this city that never sleeps. We may visit the Pachinko Center to see what it's like and how people enjoy it. Additionally, there are many game centers here, and we can stop by one to play some games for fun. After enjoying Pachinko and the game center, we will take a photo with the Godzilla statue. Then, we will have another dinner, which includes "All-You-Can-Drink

Amazing time. Shingo took us to bars that we never would have found on our own and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. It definitely felt less like a tour and more like meeting up with an old friend to go out and explore the city. It was a wonderful time and I can't recommend it enough

If you're a foodie and like to try different drinks! This is the tour for you. Shingo is such a fun tour guide and is very knowledgeable and will make you feel like you are out drinking with good friends. What a wonderful time and experience. Highly recommend. You won't regret it :)

What to say other than Shingo is the MAN! He’s fun, knowledgeable and a proper local with international experience. He has jokes, stories, trivia and a gift make you feel home in an unknown world. That seemingly just another street with a rich historical background which I wouldn’t have paid attention to otherwise, bumping into his friends on the road, or walking into bars feeling like you are going to a drink with a friend and meeting many more there, Shingo has the magic to really make your day special. Thanks Shingo for the really great time! If you are in Tokyo , don’t miss the chance to experience Shinjuku in a way that could very well be the highlight of your trip! Oh and did I mention about all the laughter? ;)

A great experience! A memorable night out in the entertainment district. Shingo is a top notch tour guide. Although I was the only one on my tour, Shingo made it an enjoyable night out. His knowledge of the area is supburb - taking me to places I would have never found on my own. The food and drink were delicious. I would highly recommend and will schedule other tours with Shingo when I return.

Shingo did a great job of showing us through the entertainment area. Great food and drink selection. Small group- 4 in our group and another couple. A fun evening. Shingo gave us good tips on Japanese bath house, dancing nightclub, and teamLab Planet display. Great guy with excellent English and people skills. I don’t give many 5s.

Shingo was an amazing guide, Even though I was the only one on the tour (incoming typhoon, so others cancelleld!) we had a great time and visited some places I would not have found on my own. We even meet up with others from his previous tour for drinks at the end. Will be back!

5++. This is your English speaking local, a friend in Tokyo. Expert and easy going bar hopping in these deep waters. He showed us a great time and we learned a lot about in Tokyo. This is your man. Phenomenal communication, we got delayed a bit and he was in constant contact on WhatsApp. That was very impressive and reassuring.

Shingo was so helpful before I even arrived in Japan. I booked a tour and then couldn't find another one with the things I wanted, so Shingo customized the tour for us. He graciously even helped me set up other reservations that were difficult to do outside of Japan. I felt so comforted knowing I could message him while I was there. Shingo has the best attitude and is so knowledgeable about the area. He also went to college in the U.S. so he understood what we mind find more comfortable. Definitely hire Shingo for the beginning of your trip!
