Visit the street where Rihanna once lived and see the outside of the home she lived in. The next stop will be Cherry Tree Hill for its breathtaking views from there we will make our way to Morgan Lewis Windmill. As we come down onto the coastline we will travel through Cattlewash and make a stop in Bathsheba which was named for its great beauty; it is also the location of the Soup Bowl the favorite stop for surfers in Barbados. Our next stop will be St John's Church one of the oldest churches on the island, set on a cliff and capturing spectacular views we will then journey through St George past the Gun Hill signal station and the great white Lion as we make our way to the Garrison Historic area. For the second part of your day we will spend the afternoon at Carlisle Bay where you will enjoy beach time and be provided with a beach lounger, umbrella and a complementary drink. On the way back to the port we will also pass through the capital of Bridgetown a UNESCO world heritage site.

If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the start of the tour. Please also advise your tour guide. Whilst we can sympathize and will try to make you as comfortable as possible our island roads can be bumpy at windy. We must also ensure we take care of all our customers and ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you are ill on board, you will be required to reimburse the driver before the end of the tour for the cleaning fee of between US seventy five and one hundred and fifty dollars. Cherry Tree Hill
Approximately 850 feet above sea-level, this spot offers an excellent view of the "Scotland District" which covers the parish of St.Andrew and is named after the Patron Saint of Scotland. It is believed that the name "Cherry Tree Hill" originated from the large number of cherry trees which once existed at this location. Today the road is lined with mahogany trees, which were introduced into Barbados after the Treaty of Paris in 1763. As you descend the hill the mahogany trees give way to swaying sugar cane.
Morgan Lewis Mill
Morgan Lewis Windmill is located in the scenic hills of St. Andrew in Barbados and commands a most commanding view of the phenomenal east coast. Built in 1727, this typical wind-driven mill once crushed sugarcane to produce juice during the 18th and 19th centuries. Morgan Lewis Windmill stopped its operation in 1947 and was subsequently handed over to the Barbados National Trust for preservation as a museum. Morgan Lewis Windmill is among the World Monuments Fund list of 100 Most Endangered Sites in the World.

5.00Susan our guide and driver was great. Met us at the cruise port ahead of time and van was comfortable and loved fact that was small group so very private experience. Started with drive through Bridgetown and some insights on history and historical and current points of interest including house where Rihanna was born. Then went through many of the different “parishes”, which are the electoral territories of the island, each unique. Really got great perspective of island, seeing one of original sugar plantations and railroads with beautiful view of island from up night, very exclusive neighbourhoods and towns as well as rural, famous surfer beach where stopped for drink and snack, one of oldest churches, and ended our tour with stop at beautiful beach not too far from the cruise port where able to enjoy the warm, beautiful waters, enjoy a complimentary beer and our chairs and umbrella included. Susan was also great in sharing her own personal story and perspective as a resident. She was gracious and very patient as on a couple of occasions had to wait for other guests who were late to meeting point or rendezvous. One couple wanted to skip the beach and she was gracious to take them back to ship early. While another couple skipped out on paying for the beach stop which despicable as it comes out of guides pocket. All in all loved the combination of culture, history and beach. Thanks Susan!

3.00Combination of too little seats and two many people, knees hit seat in front of you if taller than 5’6. More mountain views seeing the same view different angle. Sugar mill under construction, no assist on/ off. Driver never left seat, talked on phone. Take Taxi and go to beach

1.00Pay close attention to time zone Carnival cruise does not change to island time & they don’t reimburse if you miss the tour because of this!

1.00Driver was very rude. After we were standing in line for 25 minutes and 15 minutes past the start time, the driver aggressively confronted me and demanded to know why I was shaking my head. I was taken aback and told him I did not have to answer his question and it was none of his business. When the tour began, he said "In Barbados we have a laid back culture, unlike the guy in the grey shirt", which I had on. During the excursion, he was very rude to my wife, which I believe was an indirect attack on me. I would not recommend this tour or company to anyone.

5.00We loved our tour of Barbados, our guide Ryan was fantastic. Very organized and seamless excursion day from the Cruise port terminal, Thorough tour with just two other couples, and time on a beautiful beach to cap off our day. Highly recommend!

5.00Especially if you're a first time visitor to Barbados, I think this was a wonderful overview of some of the more rural parts of the island with several stops for both photo ops and visiting historic places. Our guide Corey was both knowledgable and very patient. We ended the tour with time on Carlisle Beach, which while crowded, was a beautiful, pristine white sand beach with turquoise water, plenty of beach chairs with umbrellas, food and beverage concessions and water sports available. A little extra beach time would have been ideal, but we enjoyed this excursions tremendously.

4.00Was worried about booking a direct tour rather than through cruise line, but all was fine. The driver wasn't the best tour guide but the tour was enjoyable and the island is beautiful. I would be more than happy to book this company again when next visiting.

5.00Charles our tour guide was phenomenal. He is personable and knowledgeable. The tour bus was very clean and welcoming. We especially enjoyed our trip to Savvy on Carlisle Bay. The beach was perfect.
