  The tour was awesome. Our tour guide , Elvira , was so lovely and knowledgeable. She even helped me find my phone when I lost it. I would highly recommend her tour and I give her the highest marks!!! It was a totally enjoyable experience and I feel like I learned so much about Barcelona. Thanks so much again, Elvira!!! Susan

  I enthusiastically recommend Go Local Barcelona & Elvira for a private cultural tour of Barcelona. Elvira is passionate about showing her hometown to visitors. For our tour Elvira took us on a walking tour of the Gothic Quarter and other areas that were part of the original settlement. Our tour was full of interesting sites and experiences. As a private tour Elvira tailored the content to what we were most interested in seeing. We even did some shopping at small shops owned & operated by local artisans. Overall it was a wonderful way to spend a day in Barcelona. We will hire Elvira again the next time we are in Barcelona.

  Elvira was amazing! She was knowledgeable, interesting, perfectly paced, and a joy to be with. Her understanding of Barcelona history is incredible, and she has a beautiful way of sharing. We enjoyed a “insiders only” tour and a lovely tapas lunch. She shared her knowledge of local food and drink, as well architecture, art, history, etc. A lovely experience all around!!   What a wonderful way to learn the history of Barcelona and see the sites. My husband and I love history and were so glad to add this to our anniversary trip. She quickly learned things we liked and added it to the sights. She also was kind enough to take pictures of us at the several locations.

  We spenr 4 full days with Elvira We learnt essential information from all the main atractions, and had 2 day trips: Dali & Girona & Montserrat with winery. By the end of the trip we felt sad to say good bye to our guide ,Elvira.

  We had a great time with Alejandro! We had brought our baby with us and Alejandro did a great job choosing places that were easy to access and had great food. Would definitely recommend!!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Alejandro. Alejandro's knowledge of the local area was wonderful and we really enjoyed visiting the Gothic Quarter. We also enjoyed seeing the back roads of Barcelona that tourists may not normally see. It was lovely to see Barcelona from Alejandro's local perspective and learn some of the history of this wonderful city. We also enjoyed having beers from a hole in the wall.   Can you give more than 5 stars? The tour with Alejandro was amazing. He customIzed every bit of the tour the entire time. Our first stop was the market and when we wanted to taste different local flavors there he helped us find all the best stops. As we walked around the Gothic and El Born areas he added in a lot of historical context as well. It was the perfect blend of food, history, and good company along the way. And as a bonus he left us with a lot of suggestions of places to eat and explore for the rest of our time in Barcelona and beyond in Spain. Highly recommended and a great way to start your Barcelona exploration.
