If you visit Bariloche, the Circuito Chico is a must-see excursion, showcasing the region’s most iconic landscapes in just half a day. The journey starts on Av. Ezequiel Bustillo, winding along Nahuel Huapi Lake, surrounded by forests of cypresses, coihues, and ñires.

At km 17, Cerro Campanario offers one of the world’s best panoramic views. Further along, at km 24, you’ll find the San Eduardo Chapel, Llao Llao Hotel, and Puerto Pañuelo, followed by Villa Tacul and the crystal-clear Lago Escondido.

A highlight is the Angostura Bridge, where Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes meet in a stunning natural display. The Panoramic Point at Lago Moreno offers breathtaking views, while the return journey passes the peaceful Laguna El Trébol.

This 60 km route is a perfect blend of nature, history, and magic, capturing the soul of Bariloche.

The guide, Gabi, was outstanding. She greeted me warmly as I got to the tour van. Every passenger was acknowledged and taken care of. The itinerary was splendid for a half day tour. Some great photo opportunities.

Good tour, but the tour at 3pm was cancelled a day before and we were forced to use an early morning tour instead. Poor support from Viator and the local tour company.

This is the official complaint I'm going to submit about life threatening incident I had in the chairlift on 7/11 Asunto: Queja formal sobre incidente de seguridad en aerosilla Doppelmayr en Cerro Campanario, Bariloche Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Safety Incident on Doppelmayr Chairlift at Cerro Campanario, Bariloche To whom it may concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a serious incident that occurred on November 7, 2024, around 4:00 PM, during a ride on the Doppelmayr chairlift at Cerro Campanario, in San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina. Mr. E. Rysin, the undersigned, boarded the chairlift with the intention of enjoying the ride but became a victim of a significant malfunction in the security system of the lift. Upon boarding, he noticed that the safety bar went down but did not close as required. Then, as the chairlift began its ascent, the bar went up, leaving him unprotected while ascending at a considerable height, exposing him to imminent danger. Mr. Rysin immediately attempted to alert the operators of the issue and requested that the ride be stopped; however, his requests were ignored. For 20 minutes, he endured the ride, in distress and fear for his safety. Upon reaching the top station, Mr. Rysin expressed his concern about the malfunctioning safety system, but his comments were dismissed with laughter and mockery from the operators, showing a complete lack of professionalism and responsibility in addressing customer safety. This incident is extremely troubling, not only because of the danger Mr. Rysin was exposed to but also due to the negligence shown by the staff responsible for the safety of the service. We demand that immediate action be taken to investigate this incident, ensure it does not happen again, and that a public apology be offered to the affected party. Furthermore, we request a thorough review of the safety conditions of all Doppelmayr chairlifts operating in the area. Such situations must not be tolerated in a tourist service of such importance that receives thousands of visitors each year. Passenger safety should always be the top priority.

  • Worthy tour for spending half day in Bariloche

I love the part of cable car. It brought us to the hill top seeing the spectacular scene of Brariloche. We tooks many photos there. But I am slightly disappointed with the remaining parts which take quite a long bus trip but offering very similar view
