Hands on experience for guests to paint and design their own Batik Green Bag. The class lasts about 90 minutes and includes 100% calico cotton, sized 13 x 13 inches (34 x 34 cm). Guests can bring the batik bag home on the same day.

guests can design their own batik pattern on their batik bag, and bring home on the same day. workshop last call is 1pm. we open from 8am to 3pm everyday, included public holidays. There is various of Batik gifts and souvenirs for guests to do some shopping. Guests can check out www.myBatik.com the online shop and come to pick and pay on the day. we accept cash & online purchase with creadit card or online transfer. muslim prayer room, baby diaper changing room, kids indoor playroom and out door playground also available. Free ample parking and safe street parking.

Batik Bag Painting Workshop
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes: only 90 minutes and you can learn about how to paint with wax , and design your own Batik Bag, last call batik workshop 3pm.
Green Tomato Cafe: this cafe is located inside the myBatik centre , serve all day breakfast / lunch & tea time. kids meals available too.

5.00Great experience! Really nice workshop and beautiful little studio - great activity to do. It's a bit of a hike out there for a solo traveller - so check the location suits you. I recommend message the WhatsApp number to confirm if booked last minute or through Viator - bit of a mixup with my booking and they didn't know I was coming - but still got a full experience and the hosts were lovely and very apologetic about it!
Best place for Family Bonding especially with junior.

5.00I love this place, which is private learning workshop, and very clean and safe. we did batik t shirt painting and we enjoyed so much. we. discover the 2 technique about Malaysian Batik Making which is Stamping and Canting.

5.00Spent a lovely morning making hand made batik! My children (8 and 10) and I were involved in all aspects of the batik making process and enjoyed every minute of it!! Highly recommend this for anyone who loves crafts and wants to try their hand at batik.

5.00I recently attended this batik painting workshop with my colleagues as part of a small team building activity and it was an amazing experience! Not only did we get to explore and appreciate Malaysia’s rich heritage, but we also had the opportunity to create our own batik art. Emilia - the owner and instructor, was incredibly warm and approachable. She guided us through the entire process with patience and expertise, ensuring that everyone felt confident in their artistic journey. The whole experience was not only fun but also a meaningful dive into traditional craftsmanship. Highly recommend for anyone looking to connect with local culture in a creative way!

5.00Batik painting is one of the Malaysia cultural icons. I am glad that my two teens had privilege to learn how to do batik painting at Emilia's MyBatik Workshop. Emilia is the owner of the MyBatik Workshop. She's very friendly and very good at giving well-described instructions to my teens who did the batik painting for the very first time. I bought two beautiful batik painting scarfs from her place too. If you drop by Kuala Lumpur, don't miss this cultural workshop. 5.00My daughters and had a great time painting our batik bags. Emilia was knowledgeable, helpful and fun. High recommended especially as you end up with a sweet keepsake of your time in KL.
