5.00I went with my 9 years old grand-daughter. We were guided by Kamal. An Interesting short introduction about Batik and its symbolic designs. Patient and attentive guidance through the process.

5.00Really fun new experience with a batik artist who travels internationally to share his art. Kamal was a very patient teacher. The class was a very nice part of my three day Singapore trip, a great break from the heat and regular sightseeing. My finished product was gently placed in a beautiful cloth pouch as a memento of the class. Highly recommend and I will be back on my next trip to Singapore.

5.00Kamal is a great teacher and a fantastic artist! We had a small group of 3 students, very lovely ladies. The work space is very big and organized, materials were supplied and ready for us. He gave a good overview of batik and ran through the steps. It was fun to choose our pictures and we had a chance to practice before we started our pieces. My final piece is beautiful and I had a great time. I highly recommend his class, it was a very fun afternoon, I would love to return again.

5.00This class is a good intro to the art of batik. We learned a little history, as well as technique. The hands-on project allowed us to put it into action, and it was fun experimenting with our own ideas and colors. Being in the artist studio was inspirational.
