  The driver gave a running commentary as we passed places of interest. A very pleasant and helpful man. The time spent at konningsea could be shorter as there was not much there and the time added to looking at Berchtesgarden which is a lovely town

  Time was taken away from our trip because the driver was told he had to take people to the Salt Mines, which was NOT a part of our itinerary. Therefore, our time in Konigsee and Berchtesgaden was cut short to accommodate this out-of-the-way stop which only involved 3 people in our group. Andreas was a pleasant guide, very informative and very proud of his Austrian heritage. He was quick to point out specific sites as we drove through the Alps, and was helpful in sharing with us important things to see in and around Salzburg.

  If you are doing the lake in winter months it can be icy and a little slippery so take walking boots (and remember your passport as cross border into Germany). The view was amazing and worth the short walk. We travelled into the town which was so Christmassy -loved it! Susie our guide was so informative and we love getting facts that are not just standard blurb! Unfortunately Eagles nest was covered in mist so will definitely be coming back.

  They grouped two tours together so our tour lost 25% of our time dropping off and picking up the other tour. So in a four hour tour it was 2 hours driving and 40 minutes to walk to see king lake and40 minutes in a small tourist town. Completely not worth the time or the money. On top of that, we had an 8 hour tour scheduled for this day. The guide cancelled 16 hours before saying lack of participation. So little notice in a foreign country destroyed our visit to Salzburg. Do better viator!!!
