Monte Verde, 774m or 2,539ft, the highest point of Sao Vicente, at the summit we will enjoy a cup of locally grown tea or coffee at the Tea House, while taking in the spectacular views of the Island; On a clear day you will see the Islands of Santo Antão, São Nicolau, Santa Luzia, Ilhéu Raso and Branco - Mindelo and the Coastal beaches are stunning from the top!

Our day trip to Sao Vicente was a great experience. Everything was arranged to perfection: the pick-up, the ferry and the tour of the island. Our driver was calm and experienced, which made the trip extra pleasant. Guide Danny was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. He took us quietly and safely to Monte Verde. Furthermore, he shared a lot of interesting information about the island and made us feel welcome. The communication with Greenline Tours went smoothly. In short, a fantastic day to remember!

I'm on the fence how to respond. By the end of the tour my mind was left me with more questions then answers about this country. Amazement and confusion. "Interesting" is the best word for it 👍🏼 Accent of my guide was pretty thick ( but good English). It's a good idea to sit closer to front of shuttle van so you can hear and understand all the interesting tidbits of information he speaks about. Not a bad tour, not a bad guide, just "interesting."

In the end I have even booked 4 tours in São Vicente with Green Line Tours : Beaches, Villages and Monte Verde, 4x4 Desert Land Safari tour, Sunset Hike and 12 Voltas - A Hidden Wonder of Nature. Angela is a real pro, getting all the administrative stuff in order in a quick and efficient way. Paulo and his team make all tours to a huge success, with great insights on the island, they are passionate story tellers. They take care that you have the best time of your life, for ex. it is always possible to make some extra photo stops. I definitely recommend Green Line tours !

The island was beautiful-The Tea House(indoor visit) was great and the beaches were great. However, we did not have much time to swim (only 15 minutes) because we were the only ones who wanted to. Disappointed about that, as it was the reason we chose this tour. Instead Kalu took us to see turtles, which was wonderful. They took good care of us.
