We very well know that popular places like Jaisalmer can get crowded with many tourists. That is why we bring you this special tour. You will skip luxurious desert camps and have an individual, private time in a very small group in secluded dunes that will become a memory of a lifetime.

This is the assembly point of your tour. If you opted for hotel pickup we will bring you here before the start. Quick introduction to the team and review of the itinerary. You can also store luggage on our premises if you so desire.
Kuldhara Abandoned Village
Visit Kuldhara - village established in 13th century and abandoned in 19th century most probably because of water shortages.
Khaba Fort
Visit picturesque Khaba Fort located on a hill overlooking the area.
Jaisalmer
With an exciting jeep ride you'll reach a point from where your two hours camel safari starts. Every participant will have a one camel to fully enjoy the ride and unobstructed views of the desert. You will ride for couple kilometers and enter beautiful sand dunes. Going up and down through the sand will be great fun! We choose less traveled routes to give you a real taste of the solitude of the desert. Finally you will reach a stop to watch an unforgettable sunset from the dunes. As the sun sets, the sky and sands change colours to create one brilliant spectacle creating a golden sea beneath you. The air becomes chillier and it seems as if the whole desert is preparing for the night. Sipping hot chai take some time to fully appreciate this beautiful performance. In the meantime the desert nomad in you would crave for a delicious, authentic desert food. Watch and learn as local people prepare an open fire and an exquisite Indian meal for you. This is the perfect opportunity to learn some Indian cooking techniques and recipes. You can also get involved in the food preparation and cooking if you wish. By then, the sky displays a mesmerizing performance without any light pollution. To end the night enjoy a cup of chai, relax on a simple bed while stargazing and sit around bonfire for a chat with local people or some games. You can decide to sleep outside beneath the twinkling stars or inside a tent. The choice is yours.

In the morning wake to the sounds of camels chewing grass, birds singing, and the local staff chanting while preparing chai and breakfast. Enjoy magnificent sunrise in the desert. If you wish you can go on another camel ride or a walk around the dunes. Our driver will take you back to Jaisalmer by 10 am latest.

5.00This was probably the highlight of my Rajasthan trip! Together with Fifu, the organiser, I sat myself down and he took time to personalise the trip as much as possible for me, showing great care for all of my wishes and expectations. As I am learning French, I was very pleased to get a french-speaking guide :) Together with her we drove to the desert, halting at various historical sites as she explained their significance. Finally we reached the camels on which we rode through the beautiful Thar desert and arrived at our spot just in time to watch the sun disappear into the endless sand dunes. This was probably the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. Then we cooked our dinner together with the local people and enjoyed it at the campfire before going to sleep in our comfortable beds in the middle of the desert under countless stars. This was sone night I will never forget! Thank you so much for making this possible.

5.00If you are looking for a non-touristic rural experience in Jaisalmer, you should book this tour! We had the greatest experience with Kabir, our guide. He went out of his way to make this the best experience for us. He brought us to this magical dunes where we could enjoy the sunset after our camelride. We loved our night sleeping under the stars! Thanks you Kabir and Fifu Camel Safaris for this great experience!!

5.00We had an authentic, human, gustatory and visual experience. All our senses were alert to discover new sensations. this half day tour and evening in the desert was magical. We have adored. The meal was really delicious. We highly recommend Fifu camel safari. Thanks to our chef driver and our young camel drivers.

5.00It was a unique experience with the two off us and the guide & camel owner (there origin is in the desert). Everything was well organized the whole trip. The food was good. There where enough blankets, it was cold in the night (bring own warm clothes). You are getting back to basic and nature. We slept on a bed under the stars. At the end the owner surprised us with a gift and they gave us the opportunity to use the bathroom off the hotel after the trip. If you want a peaceful/quite trip in nature, we will recommend this trip for you.

5.00Superb excursion organized by Fifu. Soda drove us to the desert and cooked us a delicious typical dish after taking a beautiful camel ride. We slept under the stars and the sky was magnificent. Very beautiful sunset and sunrise.

5.00Unforgettable experience to remember. Shoda has been a great guide, attentive and a good cook. They picked me up from the hotel in Jaisalmer and we went to the desert. Before entering I took a camel ride for approximately an hour and then when Shoda arrived I had everything ready, and I started cooking with them. I don't remember the name of the boy who was carrying the camel but the camel's name is Lula. Also a lovely person. I cooked with them, we ate delicious, we chatted and we slept under the sky. At dawn we enjoyed a delicious chai and had breakfast. An experience to do if you come to the area. Highly recommended

5.00We just lived an AMAZING and UNFORGETTABLE experience with Fifu Camel Safaris. My best friend Pauline and I had a so great time doing this little trip. First we went on a Jeep Safari, then camel ride in the desert, then cooking lesson (dalh and fresh vegetables, making chapati) in the desert and night looking at the stars. Everything was so well organised: the fresh diner and food in the desert was delicious (Best masala Tea ever !), night on our "desert beds" was very confortable (all furniture, fresh sheets) and five stars continental breakfast ! We would like to say a huge Thank you to Sodha and Salou (and Abib) for their kindness and their smile : everything was perfect thanks to them ! We really feel we were in security even if we were 2 young girls alone in desert. We hope we can come again one day ! Thank you, we will never forget this experience in the desert. 5.00This was my 3rd trip in the desert with Fifu, and again I was not disappointed. I was surprised to see how touristic the desert has become since I was here last time, so many big safari camps. But Fifu of course managed to take us to a place in the desert where we were completely alone with the camels and the deserts animals. And again the trip was very well organized. After a ride on the camels we arrived at our campsite, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner made on the bonfire, watching the sunset and the amazing colours. We slept on beds under the open sky and millions of stars. Really a memorable experience. Thank you Fifu 🙏

5.00There's no word to describe this experience in the desert. We really wanted to find a non touristic tour because we care about desert conservation and animal welfare. And we find Fifu. The tour we chose was perfectly meeting our expectations, we went to a village far away from tourists. Everything was pretty well organized. We left the hotel by jeep, visit some monuments on the road to the desert, and then start the camel ride to enjoy the sunset at the dunes before to sleep under the stars. All people working were very kind and take care of us, they put tents next to our beds in the case we need it during the night. They cook for us and teach us some traditional Indian recipes. Thank you again to all the team

5.00The experience it was amazing, first we had the visit for all the monuments, then we had the camel ride to the desert and we saw the sunset in the middle of the desert that was absolutely amazing. After we enjoyed a delicious dinner made on fire below the sky and stars, been accompanied for our desert hosts. For me was an incredible and full of medicine night, in the middle of the nature with warm and kind people. In the morning the sunrise it was the most spectacular ending for all the experience. Highly recommended 🙌
