I set this tour up for my brother and his wife, and the tour guide, Linda, was very helpful and professional from the start. On the day of the tour she was on time and provided a very enjoyable experience for my family members. My brother told me that if he needed another tour guide for some other excursion, Linda would be his first choice. The trip to the Great Wall itself sounded (and looked, based on photos) spectacular, like a memory for a lifetime.

We were picked up 06:30 sharp at the agreed location. The drive to the wall was comfortable and Linda spoke English very well. We drove close to the cable car entrance point and we spent 2 houts at the wall. One could also stay longer on the wall if needed. For the way down Linda organized a rikshaw down to the car park and we drove to the place where we got classes in making dumplings. OK, the focus was to make small pancake shape and then put the filling (already prepared) and pinch it and close them. Thus was very interesting to see the technique of closing the dumpling. After that the dumplings were boiled and another 4 delicious dishes were prepared. All was great. We were interested to do a tea ceremony nearby and we learned a lot about teas. All is free. We returned to our hotel at 14:30 and it has been an enkoyable trip! We can recommend it!

Had a nice day going to Mutianyu Great Wall with driver Davis!! Very large van, perfect to fit our group op 4. First stop at a lovely family restaurant where we did a dumpling cooking class. Then on to the Great Wall, going up by cable car and then enjoying the magnificent views! Davis was very helpful, purchasing the tickets for us, explaining everything and recommending a nice Beijing restaurant afterwards and dropping us of there. He even shipped my sweater, which I left in his car in Beijing, to Shanghai. Highly recommended driver service!
