Mutianyu Great Wall
Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing, China, it's about 70 kms away from downtown of Beijing and takes about 1.5 hours drive to there. Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best-preserved and longest sections of the Ming Dynasty's Great Wall that still exist, with a total length of 5,400 meters. It well embodies the ancient charm of the Great Wall and has profound historical and high cultural value. Mutianyu Great Wall winds through the high mountains and deep valleys, offering a wide view and breathtaking scenery. While strolling along the Great Wall, you can fully enjoy the undulating mountains and dense forests, and feel the grandeur of nature and the ancient beauty of the Great Wall. Compared with the Badaling Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall has relatively fewer visitors. 5.00Thanks to our tour guide Linda, we had an incredible experience visiting the Great Wall. Linda is very professional, friendly and organized. She picked us up with her nice car and we enjoyed a lovely chat with her during the car ride to the Great Wall. She helped us getting tickets to get on the gondola without us fighting the long lines. her private tour is very well planned on the Great Wall, we did not feel being rushed. She provided historical information while also giving us spaces to enjoy alone time as a family but come in to take pictures for us at the most amazing photo spots. We enjoyed every moment of our tour. We loved the whole plan of picking us up and dropping us off, which was extremely efficient. We could not have had this trip so smoothly without her. In addition to that, Linda offered us help to our last minute decision to tour the Temple of Heaven before we leave to the airport. Her colleague, Angie came to help us the second day. Angie showed up with her driver on time. They not only provided a fantastic and knowledgeable private tour to our family, they also dropped us off at the Beijing airport. Angie also brought our kids little souvenirs and fresh strawberries. The driver Mr. Kong is extremely professional with fantastic driving and customer skills. I would highly recommend Linda, Angie and Mr. Kong to anyone who is planning to visit. Their service is flawless and they truly made our experience memorable and enjoyable.

5.00Jessica was a FANTASTIC Great Wall tour guide! So knowledgeable and so helpful! Got me there at the perfect time in the perfect places before all of the crowds! Jessica was so friendly and spoke perfect English, as she had lived in the U.S. for a short time. The car was comfortable on the drive. Just a perfect all around experience!

5.00Hi 🙋♂️ We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our Mutianyu Great Wall tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our driver, Mr. Wu. From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable and welcome. Mr. Wu went above and beyond to make our day special. He showed us helpful shortcuts at the Great Wall, which made the visit much easier and more enjoyable, especially with children. He even brought us fresh fruit during the trip, which was such a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. He also took many beautiful photos of our whole family so we could fully enjoy the moment together without worrying about missing memories. Our children absolutely loved him — he was very kind, patient, and attentive, and he made the whole journey fun for them. His English was excellent, and we had many pleasant and interesting conversations during the drive, which made the long ride feel short and very enjoyable. We are truly grateful to Mr. Wu for making this day such a memorable and smooth experience. 5.00A fantastic ride in a nice car with air conditioning and outstanding service from our driver Mr. Wu Han walked an extra mile for us, helped with additional tickets, agreed to the first piece of the wall and made sure we got very special and special photos. This trip can definitely be recommended!!

5.00The driver was at the hotel on time. The communication was great, the ride very safe and relaxed. Definitely drive very early in the morning, there are no crowds on the wall. Our driver Wu then stopped at a souvenir shop at our request. There was also plenty of water and fruit. A really great service, the trip was great.

5.00The trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu was a great experience. The guide picked us up at the hotel right on time and the drive from Beijing was very comfortable. During the journey and at the wall itself, she shared many interesting facts about the history of the Great Wall and explained everything clearly in excellent English. Before going up, she described the different ways to reach the wall, such as taking the cable car or the chairlift, which made it easy to decide what suited us best. Standing on the Great Wall is truly impressive and definitely something you should experience at least once. She also kindly helped by taking several photos of us, which was really appreciated. Overall, the tour was very well organized and relaxed. Anyone looking for an easy and well-guided visit to the Great Wall from Beijing would likely enjoy this tour.

5.00We had perfect day out to the Great Wall with Linda who picked us up at our hotel on time and Drive us to Mutianyu. She explained the history and all the facts you have to know about the Great Wall in detail and very interestingly and in very good English. She explained the multiple options to get up to the wall either via cable car or via the chair lift. To see and to stand on the Great Wall is a really amazing experience and Linda took a lot of photos of us which we can show our families and friends now. We can recommend her tour to everyone who wants to visit the Great Wall from Beijing in a stress free and personalized way and can recommend her to everyone because of her great experience and knowledge.
