Travel to the famous Falls road and arrive at one of the most iconic buildings in the city (Divis tower). Here you will listen to an introductory talk to set the context of the tour and explain the series of events that lead up to August 1969 and the beginning of a period of conflict in Ireland,more commonly known as the'Troubles'.

5.00This tour is a must do if you’re visiting Belfast. It’s a really good overview, especially for those who know less about the troubles. Michael was our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and I would really recommend!

5.00What an emotional roller coaster listening to the very articulate Tony describing the struggles in Belfast over the years. His descriptions of the past, both personal and historical, were expertly told. A real passion for change and integration to ensure long lasting peace. The ride passed the many murals which depicted troubles on all sides. Incredible to think that the peace wall is still in existence. Highly recommend this tour. Bring tissues! Tony - you were amazing, balanced, friendly and a gent - thank you!

5.00Just finished our private taxi tour of the murals around Belfast - what an incredible experience. Our taxi driver Tony was very knowledgeable and made the trip really enjoyable, even sharing his own personal experiences of growing up in 70s Belfast with us. Strongly recommend this as a must-see, especially if you haven't been to Belfast before!

5.00Tony was incredibly accommodating to our needs and shared his knowledge in a way that was informative without being overwhelming. The information he provided was meaningful and really set the scene for Belfast’s history. He was engaging, an excellent storyteller, and we genuinely could have listened to him for hours. We especially appreciated the balanced, non-biased account of historical events, and even more so Tony’s willingness to share his own personal experiences and struggles. 5.00We completed the political tour of the murals around Belfast today with Jimmy, and it was one of the most interesting, thought-provoking and moving activities we've ever done. Jimmy was such a fountain of knowledge and captivating insight, and all of us (including our 11 year old and 10 year old) found it hugely interesting. We're so glad we did it, and feel that we're so much more informed now regarding the complicated history of this region.

5.00We had jimmy for our political tour today. From start to end we were so impressed with how educated jimmy was in every aspect of Northern Ireland’s history. He was easy to talk to laughed along the way and answered all our questions. He also shared parts of his own life through the troubles which we really appreciated! We could not recommend jimmy enough as well as the efficiency of the political taxi tour if you want learn about of the deep rooted history of Northern Ireland ! Luke and Olivia , cork Ireland
