You will climb to the summit of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland. The Mountain path winds its way up the mountain to the summit shelter and back again. Expect your day to be between 6 - 9 hours, depending on the weather and the group's fitness levels. You will require your own walking boots, waterproofs and food and drink for the day. This walk is subject to minimum numbers being met. We reserve the right to cancel if they have there are not enough bookings.

5.00George was the best guide! Had a great time with beautiful views and good company. Some fog and a tiny bit of rain but that didn’t take away from the overall experience - maybe even added to it.
Great to get the inside track from a fab mountain guide!

5.00With little experience climbing munros solo, I chose to join a group with a guide. Great decision! Murph was a fab guide and great company, pointing out handy stopping and refill points, sights and wildlife as well taking very conscientious care of his wards on a VERY hot day on the mountain. Strongly recommend him and Elite Guides if you’re solo and/or a less experienced walker. Thanks Murph!

5.00We had such a great time with Mike as our guide! We really enjoyed our trek up the mountain in a small group and appreciated his kind consideration for everyone in the pack. We didn’t get to make it to the top due to treacherous conditions but were able to bask in the glorious views and fresh air. Would highly recommend!

5.00Our guide Cameron was very informative and encouraging, especially when it got hard going . Kept us going and was full of interesting facts about the mountain and the Monroe's in general. Tough but enjoyable day with like minded hikers.

5.00Excellent service, Scott was very responsive to email and WhatsApp enquiries. Angus was a great tour guide, pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Angus even went so far as to have extra hats and gloves if members of the group required. Excellent service overall 👍👍👍👍

5.00Booked a very late Guided Tour with Elite Guides just the evening before I wanted to do it. This was after another company let me down with a late cancellation. Had a quick turnaround in response and booking process with Simon from Elite Guides. My guide was Siobhan and she was great. Really bubbly, engaging and very clear on her instructions and plan for the day. She constantly checked I'm with the group members along the way to gauge how we were all doing. Kept us informed of the planned break stops and was flexible with our little layer faff stops on an ad hoc basis. Can't thank her enough for a fun and enjoyable hike up and keeping us going on the way down which was tougher for me than the ascent. I'd recommend using them especially if a novice hiker or if the summit forecast isn't the best. Better to have an expert on hand than wing it.

5.00Scott arranged for a day hike to summit Ben Nevis, something I have always wanted to do buf not confident on my own. No worries with Elite Guides. Me and 3 other lovely ladies enjoyed an amazing day guided by Siobhan who is brilliant. Very knowledgeable about the mountains, the environment, the weather patterns and just good company !! She set a good pace with lots of photo stops as the weather and 360 views were amazing. I am very happy. Recommend Elite Guides. Thank you.

5.00A rainy windy day for the climb but had full trust in my guide, Dave - knowing he knew the weather conditions and keeping me safe. Visibility, towards the top meant no view but still a solid climb and worth it. A small but challenging climb, good trail starting from the Ben Nevis visitor Centre, took me 7 hours return, which was even with me being a bit slow and in struggle town on the down hill. Definitely, recommend going with these guys small groups unlike the 50 odd people in one group with people struggling and going unnoticed that I saw while going on the trail.

4.00Very Tough climb up Ben Nevis, thank you to my guide Hannah who helped me and loaned me her walking poles coming down and , these were so useful! So pleased I achieved the climb. I might try doing this again sometime on my own so I can go at my own pace more. Great climb thank you
