Meet us at Albandeira Beach and enjoy a relaxed kayak tour along the Algarve’s most famous coastline. On arrival, we provide everything you need: kayak, life jacket, paddle, waterproof bag, water and a snack. After a safety briefing and instruction, you’ll launch directly from the beach and paddle at an easy pace, always guided by experienced local guides. No previous experience is required — beginners and experienced kayakers are welcome. As you glide along the coast, discover impressive cliffs, rock formations and hidden sea passages, while learning about local history, nature and marine life. We explore caves, tunnels and secret spots that make this coast one of the most beautiful in Europe. A highlight of the tour is the iconic Benagil Cave, one of the world’s largest sea caves. We enter by kayak and remain in the water, in line with local regulations. Unlike short, rushed tours, this longer experience gives you more time to enjoy the scenery. After Benagil, we may explore extra caves, hidden beaches or revisit favorite spots, depending on sea conditions. The total paddling distance is around 5 km, offering adventure, natural beauty and a fun workout.

5.00Fabulous experience! Diogo was a great leader - knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and invested! We had a small tour of two couples and Diogo - three boats in total. Our 2.5-hour tour turned into almost 4 hours - after consulting with us to extend the time and at no extra cost. This allowed us to escape the large kayaking groups and the powerboat tours to enjoy small caves and beaches off the tourist track. (Not to worry, we also saw all the big sites as well including the Benagil cave.) He navigated us through the caves, arches and beaches ensuring safety was a top priority. He literally did all the work launching and landing our boats. You do not need to be an experienced kayaker. We learned a lot from this trip about Portugal and the Algarve. The cost to the trip was well worth it. Highly recommended! Jennifer and Art

5.00This was the highlight of my trip. It was a small group- unlike some of the other tours with a dozen people in a group. We had a small group of 3. Our guide was great! We swam and explored a private beach. Saw Benagil Cave as well as other caves the big tours didn't go to. By the end of our trip we felt like we were paddling with friends. It was well worth the price. Everyone was friendly and we had good communication. Plus, their kayaks have seats with back support unlike most other tour groups.
Our FAVORITE thing we did in Portugal!!!

5.00We have been all over Portugal, and this was absolutely, without a doubt, the best tour we’ve done in all of Portugal. Absolutely stunning tour with the BEST tour guides. The caves and waters we kayaked in were absolutely gorgeous. This tour company, Algarviews, is doing everything right. They treated us like we were family and highly valued our time. Diogo was the most knowledgeable and kind tour guide. Thank you Diogo and the entire team for the best tour and activity of our visit to Portugal.

5.00We had a fantastic tour with Leonardo. He had great energy, was very knowledgeable, and kept the whole experience fun. He showed us much more than just the Benagil Cave, which not all tours offer. When we arrived, the staff were so polite and welcoming. They offered croissants, bananas, eggs, watermelon, and unlimited bottles of water. They even provided spare windbreakers. The kayaks themselves looked far better than many others we saw out on the water – ours had backrests, which made the trip a lot more comfortable. We were out on the water for about three hours which was longer than the allotted time and Leonardo never rushed us. He also took some great photos. Overall, it was well worth the money and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Very pleased!

5.00We had a great experience! We enjoyed the majestic views and had a lot of fun with the very enthusiastic guides. We were split in small groups (4-5 boats) and visited the less crowded caves, which in our opinion is a big plus. We would recommend algarviews to everyone!

5.00We were absolutely delighted to have booked this tour with algarviews! We booked a tour beginning at 7:00 am, we were greeted with food (bananas, boiled eggs) and waterproof bags to put our phones there were given to us. We went kayaking and the tour was extremely pleasant and very interesting. We were mentored by Ricardo, a top guide who gave us lots of anecdotes and interesting scientific facts, we learned a lot and enjoyed the ride quietly, we were 4 kayaks in all our guide included, so we could easily exchange and ask questions. One of the best experiences of our trip to the Algarve!!

5.00Booking on TripAdvisor was easy. This was immediately followed by the friendly contact by the provider with notification of the exact meeting point. We met at 2:20 p.m. at the beach parking lot, got a brief briefing, each a bottle of water and a waterproof bag and off we went. We were a family of 6 and got the tour from Leonardo exclusively for us. We were able to explore many caves due to very calm seas that we would never have found without a guide. They were all impressive, but especially the small ones, such as the Pirate Cave, where it is quite dark but the water glows green or the Käptns Cave, which also has a large hole in the ceiling but you can still get out of it.. The famous Benagil cave was intended as a highlight at the end, but seemed rather crowded and almost boring due to the many great lonely caves before. There was some info about geology by our guide, but not too much. The fun of kayaking and exploring caves was clearly in the foreground. After almost three hours, the tour was over. But our big grin stayed even longer.

5.00Compared to the departures from Benagil Beach proposed by other companies, this trip offers a much longer kayaking experience; and that’s exactly what I wanted! The caves along the way to Benagil are, in my humble opinion, even more beautiful than the final destination. Totally worth it.
