In only 10min from downtown you will reach the venue including the traditional "Kaiserjäger" park.
The Bergisel Ski Jump is characterised by a breathtaking view of Innsbruck, the charm of a ski jumping venue with an Olympic past and modern architecture.
The tower, designed by star architect Zaha Hadid, the "Bergisel Sky" panorama restaurant and the panorama terrace are easily accessible with two elevators.
A gallery shows the Olympic history and offers insight to the world of ski jumping including the world famous 4 Hills Tournament.

5.00The funicular to the top is fun. Wish we could’ve known when to go to see ski school using the jump. Fascinating to see it. The parking is tricky. Not clearly marked or had instructions where to park

5.00Incredible views of Innsbruck from the panoramic terrace at the top of the tower, must do. Nice to have a drink also just below at the panoramic restaurant. Small scare when the funicular stops several minutes in the middle

5.00We went from 10 am till noon and saw Thomas jump six times. That made the visit an unforgettable experience, especially as we were able to ask him tons of questions about his sport. The building in itself is an architectural feat, yet in itself isn't worth the detour if not paired with the "ski flying" demo. We took bus 589, very convenient from downtown, but only hourly. Gift shop has several cool collectibles.

4.00If you ever watch watched ski jumping at the Winter Olympics you will know what this is. The sheer size would put fear into the average skier. The viewing platform give an excellent view over Innsbruck. Were they joking when they located the end of ski jumping next to cemetary?

4.00Wow, the place is a beautiful spot, in many ways! First of all, the climb to the top of the tower that welcomes the start of the athletes offers an absolutely splendid 360-degree view. You are still quite far from the city centre, so you can’t really enjoy the historic centre, but you can admire the whole expanse of the city and the surrounding mountains. As for the ski jumping springboard, the site is impressive, even without the snow. This must be even more spectacular in winter, during competitions. The tour takes us into the atmosphere of the 20th century Olympics, with the Olympic flame — or at least, the place where it stood more than half a century ago.

5.00Very impressive. They were just preparing the ramp for the four-way tournament that would take place there a few days later. Nice view of the city of Innsbruck. The bus only comes once in an hour so we have been on foot to the mountain, but that was not so bad. Also on foot back down because the bus in that hour just did not come. The restaurant is also top notch, prices are not too bad, food is tasty, service friendly and a fantastic view of the valley, the city, the arriving planes, the Nordkette and Patscherkofel, ... Definitely do when you're around. Was closed on December 24 and 25. The Welcome Card also gives you a 1 euro discount. Just before the ski jump there is also a small park and museum (not visited) and kiosk overlooking the city of Innsbruck.
