We walked through a varietyI of areas, seeing.the history and development of Bern. we say the sites Bern is noted for as well as parts of Bern off the beaten path. We enjoyed our experience very much.

4.00Wife and girls enjoyed James’ leisurely pace and presentation style. I, instead, thought there was a lack of a big picture theme and storytelling on the tour. Something that should build on itself and leave one feeling more educated about the city’s history and culture.

5.00Great introduction to Bern. James is Australian, so there is no language barrier for English speakers, and he has lived in Switzerland for many years, so he knows the country very well. He took us to all the major sites and provided a great overview of the history of Bern and Switzerland. It was our first day in Switzerland, so he was also very helpful with recommendations about transportation and other places to see. Very highly recommended.

5.00This tour really emphasise why we do private tours, it was a stroll around Bern with a great guide who just went at our pace and we spoke about the very interesting Bern and the role it has played in many aspects of history and world events, he easily accommodated our interests and could adapt at ease to any direction we went with our conversations and questions, a refreshing change to tour guides, Thanks James we had a great time
