  We chose the RTT agency due to its excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and it was possible to confirm that the praise given to the agency is completely true. We took the tour to Arraial do Cabo with the guide Agostinho, and what I have to say is that it was incredible, RTT took care of the smallest details and delivered a perfect tour, from the first service to the moment they dropped us off at the hotel. Super punctual, charismatic and very attentive! And to top it off, he took wonderful photos!

  During our long stay in Rio de Janeiro we went on several excursions with Agostinho from RTT. Definitely, the best guide we've ever had! Punctuality, knowledge of every aspect of Rio and the surrounding area, kind, attentive and very nice! He allowed us to visit everything in maximum safety, making us love his beautiful city!   I don't even know where to begin with the EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE with Rio Taxi & Transfer! I have traveled to many countries and I have to say this company and Agostinho had the greatest customer service I have ever received! The email communication and WhatsApp conversations regarding the reservations for the tours and transfers to and from the airport were very detailed and easily understood. Once you arrive at the airport they are waiting for you. (They have a sign with your name on it) Once we reached the van, our luggage was loaded and much needed bottles of water were passed out to each of us. (This company only does private transfers and tours, meaning your group will be the only people in the van or on the tour.) We were then driven to our accommodations. The English speaking associate that arrived with the driver made sure we were checked in before he left. The next day we did the City Tour. Now let me tell you, when they give a tour, they give a tour! The day is long, however Agostinho is amazing! He speaks very good English along with a few other languages. He is very knowledgeable in the country's culture. He is very conscious of your comfort and safety and has plenty of water and snacks ready for you during the tour. The eating establishments we went to on our tours were very good, part of the country's culture and always a buffet. A win win for everyone. One other thing I might add. During the tours, Agostinho is always with you, you are never just dropped off. (Even at the airport he takes you in to your terminal upon your departure.) He is in NO hurry to move along to the next site of your tour. These tours are totally at your pace. If you feel you've seen enough, he is ready to move on, if you want more time, he is more than happy to let you explore. I also feel just by talking to him they would be able to personalize a tour for the hours you have available or wanted to do. Don't quote me on that, but I really feel like they would. He also takes tons of pictures of you and yours and sends them to you via WhatsApp. I really can't say enough good things about this company, but if you are looking for a company you can feel safe with, is on time, and goes out of their way to see to your comfort, or answer any questions you may have, Rio Taxi & Transfer is that company! We sure will miss you Agostinho!
