Kauno IX forto muziejus

1 hr 15 min drive to The Ninth Fort in Kaunas. It is a memorial site dedicated to the victims of Nazi occupation during World War II. It serves as a somber reminder of the atrocities committed against the Jewish population and others targeted by the Nazis.

Curonian Spit / Kursiu Nerija National Park

Hop on the ferry that'll take us to the Curonian Spit. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site - a narrow peninsula separating the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea. It's known for its stunning sand dunes, scenic beaches, and unique flora and fauna. We'll spend the rest of the day exploring it's beauty.

Hill of Witches

The Hill of Witches is a unique sculpture park, featuring over 80 wooden sculptures depicting characters from Lithuanian folklore and pagan traditions. It's a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Baltic mythology and culture. The trail through the wods is quite easy.

Herons and Cormorants Colony of Juodkrante

The Juodkrante colony is home to hundreds of herons and cormorants. The colony provides a vital habitat for these waterbirds. It also looks like a scene from a famous Hitchcock movie

The Dead Dunes

It's a unique natural phenomenon consisting of shifting sand dunes and barren landscapes. The area is popular for hiking and birdwatching, and is also home to a number of rare plant species. (may be closed in a winter time)

Nida Cemetery

It's a unique open-air museum in Lithuania, showcasing traditional wooden gravestones and burial customs of the Curonian people. It provides a glimpse into the cultural heritage and way of life of this coastal community.

Parnidis dune offers stunning panoramic views of the Baltic Sea, Lagoon and other part or the Curonian Spit that belongs to Russia. There's a sundial on top of the dune.

Overnight in Nidaor Klaipeda which is 1 hr away from Nida. A beautful port town.

In the morning, take a ferry ride back to the mainland (if you stayed on the Curonian Spit for the night) and continue to the Hill of Crosses with a lunch stop at Siauliai.

Kryziu Kalnas

Rundale Palace Museum

The Esplanade in Riga is a popular public park located in the city center. It features walking paths, gardens, fountains, and historical monuments. The park is a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or simply enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Alberta Iela

Alberta Street is a beautiful and historic street in Riga, Latvia. It is famous for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture, with ornate facades and intricate details.

Swedish Gate (Zviedru Varti)

It is a historic gate that was built in 1698 as part of the city's defensive walls.

Riga Cathedral

This Dome Cathedral is a stunning example of medieval architecture with its impressive Gothic spire and beautiful stained-glass windows.

St. Peter's Church

Riga Central Market

The Latvian Academy of Sciences building, is an impressive example of Stalinist architecture. Completed in 1961, it features a soaring spire and impressive facade adorned with intricate sculptures and reliefs. Today, it remains an important cultural and scientific center in Latvia.

Virtsu

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and enjoy your last coffee in the charming town of Riga before embarking on a 3.5-hour drive to the Port of Virtsu. From there, board a smooth hybrid ferry for a 30-minute ride to the largest island in Estonia - Saaremaa!

Arrive at your hotel in Kuressaare and enjoy a relaxed stroll, or choose to visit the medieval castle. Evening is free.

Today is your day to enjoy! Choose an optional guided driving tour around the island to visit some iconic places such as Angla Windmills, Kali Meteorite Lake, Panga Cliffs, and more. Alternatively, relax at one of the spa hotels and explore the town for some shopping.

It's time to move on. Today, we're heading to our final destination on this epic journey around the Baltics - Tallinn. After a 1-hour drive, we'll reach the port of Kuivastu and board the same smooth ferry to the mainland.

Tallinn Old Town

Arrive in the afternoon, check into your hotel, and head out on the orientation walk with your guide to explore the old town of Tallinn. Optionally, enjoy a farewell dinner with your driver/guide in the evening.
