5.00Beautiful atmospheric location with superbly talented musicians who really looked like they were loving the music. Only negative is that we hadn’t booked in the restaurant and didn’t know the Christmas market would be shut in the evening and no other bars were open. Luckily the restaurant fitted us in, and we had a fabulous four course set meal. Great evening.
Wonderful evening enjoyed listening to Mozart!

5.00Wonderful experience, we absolutely loved it! Enjoyed wandering through the castle before the concert - dinner could've been fun too! The funicular is quick and easy to get you up and the views (even though it was dark) were beautiful! The concert itself was so wonderful and loved the variety of songs played!

5.00After reading many other reviews, we arrived early in order to secure our seats but thankfully did not need to, as seats were all numbered and allocated accordingly. The ticket included the ride up and down on the funicular, which in itself is good fun. We walked around the fortress a little while before heading to the concert hall. The concert is in a beautiful old hall with vaulted ceilings and was decorated with Christmas decorations. Initially there were 6 musicians who played classical pieces of Mozart and Haydn. After a short intermission, the musicians returned and played some Bach, Vivaldi and some traditional Christmas songs from Salzburg. We were enthralled and so glad we included this experience into our Salzburg vacation.

5.00To experience hearing Mozart in his hometown in a setting like the fortress was truly a magical evening. The musicians were incredible and the music was exquisite. The night was made most enjoyable sharing the experience with your true love!

5.00Great concert, seating is for about 50 people so small and intimate which was great! Getting to the concert was easier than I thought but if you have mobility concerns you might want to think twice, lot of stairs/inclines on way there. There is a 15min intermission so expect that. Would definitely do it again, the musicians were fantastic!!

4.00Beautiful venue and location + extremely talented performers. I highly recommend at least one Mozart/related concert while you're in Austria, because the venues that host them are stunning. We really enjoyed being up at the castle at night! However, we aren't really "music" people, so it was a little dry. I thought there might be more introductions to the pieces, or context adding about when they were written, etc, but it was truly just a concert.

5.00The performance was stellar. The violin solos were amazing, as was the pianist. And it's not just Mozart - but many of the of the masters. We even got an encore - it was a wonderful experience to listen to the music of Mozart in the city of his birth.
Highly recommend but would prefer a 7 pm start time

5.00Fantastic music, the musicians were amazing! They performed flawlessly- so fun to hear Mozart music after touring his home and birthplace. I do wish it started at 7 pm - mainly older people attending so an 8 pm start is a little late. By the time we walked back to our hotel it was 10 pm - exhausted after a full day!
