Sun Moon Lake

Day 2: Taipei – Sun Moon Lake Today we will be heading to the Taiwan-round island tour in central Taipei, we will head to the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area located in the center of the island. This largest freshwater lake in Taiwan is divided into two parts resembling the sun and crescent moon, with the surrounding area being the home of the indigenous Thao people. Enjoy a bus tour of the lake after lunch, visiting popular sites like the Ita Thao indigenous village and several prominent landmarks, including the Ci’en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, and Wenwu Temple. Our knowledgeable tour guide will provide commentary, helping you to learn more about the area.
