Yellowstone National Park is one of America’s great treasures. This full day safari will show off the highlights of this incredible place; volcanic thermal features, giant waterfalls, diverse wildlife, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and Yellowstone Lake.
Throughout the day we will drive scenic roads, walk historic boardwalks, enjoy the peace of natural landscapes and use our optics to view wildlife. Your guide is your driver, and their goal is to cover as many of Yellowstone’s famous features as they can in a day.
The guides at Yellowstone Safari Co. will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park Entrance Gate - North or West Your exact route and itinerary will be determined by your interests, current wildlife sightings, and current weather and road conditions. Our guides are all highly experienced, with thousands of hours in the field, and will expertly tailor your safari to you and your group. Summer is construction season in Yellowstone National Park and sometimes this can impact our tours. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park and your guide will do their best to navigate road closures, traffic slowdowns, and construction wait times.
Mammoth Hot Springs
Mammoth Hot Springs is a collection of thermal features at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is best known for the travertine terraces that form from mineral deposits, but there are many other observable geothermal features in this area. The algae living in the pools creates the distinct brownish, reddish colors. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of the area. Our tours are customized for each departure. We may not stop here on every tour. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park.

5.00Matt our guide was exceptional! Very knowledgeable, very personable and very accommodating of all his guests. If you are considering this tour, don’t hesitate. One of the best if not the best guided tour we’ve ever been on. If you can request a guide, you won’t go wrong with Matt. Crowds were light as we visited May 12, 2026. Weather was perfect. Snacks and drinks were provided and a nice box lunch. The tour was above and beyond what we expected.
A Relaxing day with the wonders of nature! The canyon and water fall were the most impressive spot.

5.00Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to do both upper and lower Yellowstone in one day. Our tour guide MATT was amazing. He is very respectful, great listener, very knowledgeable, friendly and always on schedule. He answered a million questions happily. He arrived well before time and picked us up and finished the tour at the right time. He had some great recommendations on other things to do at Yellowstone and restaurants We got to see 4 live geysers, a lot of time on the grand prismatic, pumice point and all the things mentioned in the itinerary. It covers all the amazing spots with just the right number of stops. This tour is optimised for time because there’s a lot to cover and the stops are perfectly timed The lunch and snacks are amazing. The brownie was wonderful and the veggie sandwich was delicious This tour is recommended for all age groups The van was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We saw plenty of Grisly Bears, Bisons, Elks, Ducks on our tour. I loved every minute here and will come back to experience it again

5.00We had a wonderful private day tour of Yellowstone with Joe as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the park, its wildlife, and its history, and made a real effort to help us spot animals. Thanks to Joe, we saw bison, hawks, moose, antelope, and even wolves. He shared many interesting insights about Yellowstone’s vegetation, fires, climate changes, and topography, which added so much depth to the experience. Joe was very congenial and a delight to spend the day with. Lunch was provided—a delicious sandwich from a local deli—which was a great touch. We highly recommend this tour for an unforgettable Yellowstone experience.
