5.00We had an outstanding experience touring Terceira with our guide, Juca. He made sure we saw all of the island’s most important sights, even some they were unavailable to other guests on our cruise ship. He was always happy to answer questions and tailor the day to our interests. What truly set him apart was his friendly and accommodating personality. He was a pleasure to spend the day with and made us feel welcome from start to finish. He also went above and beyond by taking beautiful, artistic photos for us throughout the tour, helping us capture fabulous memories. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Terceira who wants a comprehensive, enjoyable visit of the island.

5.00Juca was a fantastic tour guide. He is adventurous and up for anything you want to do as a group. He knows the island very well and so we trusted him to plan our day to maximize enjoyment based on weather conditions; because of this, we experienced almost no rain and got to see so much. Lunch was excellent and his recommendations were perfect. He is funny, has an easy going personality and doesn’t rush any experience. His photography skills are super cool and add an unexpected element of fun to the day. He took us to get ice cream before we ended our day and overall we felt that we had an extremely well rounded day. Thanks to Juca for a great experience and Marisa for helping us organize. *Our only regret was waiting too long to book as we would have preferred Juca’s guidance at the beginning of our trip versus the end but alas the day was already reserved by someone else.

5.00I had a truly wonderful day touring Terceira! Juca, my tour guide, was absolutely delightful, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the island. He took the time to show me some of the most beautiful and scenic spots, and I never felt rushed. We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch at a local restaurant, where the food was delicious, especially the tomato soup, which I absolutely loved. It was a memorable and personalized experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

5.00Juca is your guy!! So passionate about Terciera and informative with a great personality to spend the day with. Booked a Private tour for my wife two kids (18 and 13) and my nephew who joined us. A memorable day and his attention to detail in arranging lunch and visits made the day go smoothly. Swimming in the lava pools a highlight for me along with the lunch at one of his favorite traditional restaurants Finishing at the ice cream factory perfect end of our day

5.00Yuka is a great guide. We had a great day today and got a lot of explanations about the island. Above all js at home a fantastic photographer who has taken beautiful pictures with a lot of patience. We can recommend this trip to everyone!

5.00Our family could not have been happier with the entire experience! Juca (our guide) and Marisa (office) were OUTSTANDING wonderful people! Every little detail was thought out in advance and communication was excellent. Pickup and dropoff at the airport was perfect, lunch was pre-arranged at an outstanding restaurant, the van was great, but most importantly Juca was a world class guide! Nicest guy you will ever meet, super friendly, knowledgeable, and by the end of the day was like a member of the family! He is also an incredible photographer, and all day long he went out of his way to stage photos for all of us, and they were incredible (look at the photos on their website and you will get an idea of what he did for us!). Honestly I cannot recommend these folks highly enough ... book with them, you will not regret it, and you will never forget the experience!

5.00If you are looking for the best tour on Terceira island and really all of Portugal look no further. Juca and Marisa run a wonderful tour company with exceptional service. My Mom and I had a great time touring around the island to all the key locations. On top of being a wonderful tour guide Juca also is a skilled photographer (see the photos below). Not only do you get to see beautiful landscapes, eat delicious food, and learn accurate island history you also get your own personal photographer. Thank you to Juca and Marisa for the amazing tour and customizing it for my mom and I.

5.00This tour was truly the highlight of our time in Terceira. Juca was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about the island. He took us to some of the most beautiful and unique spots, including a few hidden gems we never would have found on our own. What made the experience even better was how flexible and personalized it was. There was no rush; we were able to spend as much or as little time at each location as we wanted. Along the way, we gained a deeper appreciation for Azorean culture, enjoyed a fantastic local lunch, and as an added bonus, Juca captured some stunning photos of us throughout the day. This private tour exceeded all expectations and was worth every penny. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Terceira.

5.00We visited the island with 2 other couples. We were interested in seeing the highlights of the island. Juca was amazing!! We saw so many fabulous sites and views. We could have never done that on our own. We would have spent half the day lost or backtracking. He even scheduled a lunch stop with a wonderful restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were fun and friendly! We had such a wonderful time that we were able to book him the next day too! The best part of our time with Juca are the photos he helped us take. He is a phenomenal photographer. We went home with the best photos we have ever taken on a vacation!!! This tour was worth every penny.
Just do it. It’s worth it!

5.00What an awesome day! From pick up to drop off, Juha was simply amazing. We were able to take numerous fantastic pictures, see some of the best parts of the island and have a delicious lunch with locals. The entire time we felt safe and well cared for. He willingly shared not only his knowledge of the island, but professional and personal knowledge as well. Couldn’t ask for more and can’t wait to do it again with friends & family. See you soon!
