Rio world class, considered one of the best in South America for its rapids, is a river that is approximately 1 hour from San Gil. This activity has 12 km of navigation where the wonderful landscape of the Suarez Canyon will be visualized and is one of the highest doses of adrenaline for those who dare to explore its waters. The starting point of rafting is on the Vázquez bridge via Socorro - Simacota and ends at the junction of the Suarez river and the Fonce river.

Suarez river is considered one of the top rivers in the world for white water rafting, as soon as we pick you up, we must drive for around one hour to get to the put in, then we provide you with a personal gear (life jacket, helmet and a paddle), safety talk and practice, on the river we will cover around 10 k of full of adrenaline. once we finish it, we will have some great snack and a cold beer, and get ready for heading back to san gil.

this was a wonderful and challenging adventure. I really enjoyed every parts of the rafting. Néstor was a wonderful guy about the river. I highly suggest this to anyone who has any experience rafting and want to go ahead first one of the best experiences, and Colombia.

Reserved and paid for the class 4/5 rapids trip ... but they took us on the class 3 trip instead. Perhaps they didn't have enough other participants? In any case, we were greatly disappointed ... especially since they never warned us or explained the swap.

Well worth it. The guys are very professional. Picked up from my hostel. Needed a photo copy of my passport for registration and don’t wear flip flops as they may not come back with you. Fun and friendly crew explained all the necessary instructions before setting off which puts everyone at ease and after that the rapids, the river and everyone inboard made for a great experience. Highly recommend.
The experience was very good and the guides excellent. The procedure also very well, everything we were offered was fulfilled.

We had an amazing time kayaking the Fonce river and rafting the Suarez the following day. Ariel was very professional and accommodating. Rafting the Suarez was the best whitewater rafting I have ever experienced. Ariel speaks English well so communication was easy. He has an excellent knowledge of the river for navigating and knowing when to go. I highly recommend rafting with his company, he was a delight to work with over the trip. If you are traveling in Colombia do yourself a favor and visit San Gil and book a trip, you won't regret it. Looking forward to my next trip with him!

We were two friends with experience on the river. We contract with Colombia rafting expeditions. We found it a spectacular experience. The river was half high. According to them at their optimum level. Very good guides who made us enjoy a safe and fun descent. We went two rafts with two safety kayaks. The guide made us enjoy, explained the quick one by one and guided the raft perfectly through the safest lines. An impressive, safe and very fun activity. Thank you.

The guides were so amazing. They give you a lesson and practice before you go to make sure everyone is safe. I felt so safe with the guides and even when I fell in the river, Following all safety instructions, I was pulled back up and had an experience of a lifetime! What a great experience! 🤩 pure adrenaline! The Team was great and it was an adventure of a lifetime for me. Only thing that can be improved is communication. Apparently there are high chances thats its too dangerous in Novermber, because there is too much water on the rivers and the event gets cancelled! That should be communicated early in my opinion. Also you should wear long shorts, you need to step through meter high grass. Watershoes would have been also very useful. Maybe those information can be shared uprfont in the future. Nevertheless I am super happy that I was able to make this experience even though it was 2 days delayed due to the weather conditions 🥰

We had a lot of fun! The guides gave us a sense of security and were professional. They were relaxed and relaxed. The food at the end tasted very delicious
