An amazing day on the river, surrounded by nature and with the excitement of the white water. The excursion in the Fonce River is an amazing opportunity for first-timers, nature lovers and families, which does not require experience and can make people from 5 years old. It is not necessary to know how to swim. The trip down the river is 10 km where you can visualize a large part of the fauna and flora of the area. The starting point of the activity is 10 km from San Gil via Charala place known as the sandbox and ends in San Gil in the place known as the boardwalk. Programming: 3 hours (1 hour and 30 minutes on the river and 1 hour and 30 minutes in preparation and logistics) Hours: It can be programmed with the client between 8:00 a.m. at 2:00 p.m. Conditions: Not being pregnant, having no recent injury, not presenting heart disease Recommendations: Appropriate clothing: shorts, shorts, short or long lycra, t-shirt, tennis or adjustable sandals, repellent, sunscreen, change clothes, and hydration.

Fantastic rafting activity! It was their first time for my children aged 9 to 14, and the guides were great playing with the older children and reassuring the younger ones. The activity was very fun and safe with two guides, one being in a separate kayak. Highly recommend!

Picked up at the hotel. Had a private tour with his 5s for only 20 euros pp. He did a great job. At the end for 17,50 euros I also got 134 photos and videos! All in all a top experience

Excellent experience on the descent of the Fonce River with Explorers Costa Rica! Ariel was an exceptional host, made us feel at home. Ariel is a really great guy, we rafted with him and his team and he well looked after our family, two adults and two kids. The perfect balance of adrenaline and safety. We also booked paragliding through him and had the most wonderful day. Highly recommended in every possible way.

Excelente plan, muy profesionales, y la atencion fue 1A - hicimos los rapidos y a mitad del camino almorzamos platos tradiconales - los recomiendo sin reservaciones; WE came with our family and reserved the day with these guys, very nice, doing torrenting/rappel in the morning and then the Rapids - and mid way, a traditonal luch in a ranch by the shore of the river. Great time, very professional, highly recommended.

Ariel and Eddy took us on a very nice trip. The instruction at their home-base was fun and ensures we all understood the (safety) instructions. The Fonce river was enjoyable, Eddy was a great captain and made a lot of videos and pictures. We had plenty options to go for a swim. We saw several birds and leguanen. Most rapids were easy, some we really had to work together to get through. #Fun If you like rafting and want to have a nice experience I would definitely recommend Exploradores

An unforgettable experience with a highly recommended company. My family and I were 6 people in total, out of which 3 were between 62 and 65 years old. It was really well-organised and very safe even for my parents who had never done this before. I reached out to the company through WA just 1 day before and Ariel responded very quickly to address my concerns. On the day itself, he was our guide and together with the driver and co-guide, we spent an amazing time in the river navigating the rapids and getting all wet. Ariel's instructions are super clear, his English is good, and most of all, he has safety as the number 1 priority. This was without a doubt, one of the best experiences in San Gil, and very suitable for people who want to try this activity in a safe manner. Good job, Ariel and team! Una experiencia inolvidable con una empresa super recomendable. Mi familia y yo somos 6 con 3 mayores de edad. El rafting fue super bien organizado y muy seguro incluso para las personas sin experiencia. Ariel, el guía y uno de los propietarios, tenía muy buena comunicación y siempre estaba pendiente de todo. Sin duda, fue una de las mejores experiencias para nosotros en San Gil. Recomiendo esta empresa para las personas que quieren intentar esta actividad de manera segura.
