  We paid £68 for this and it was a total pain. Firstly it’s difficult to find the stops. There was no big bus sign at several of the stops we used, secondly no WiFi as promised and we changed buses four times and lastly it’s so busy and comfortable on the bus. Upstairs is hot and people put their phones in the way so you can’t take pictures, downstairs the windows are dirty. It’s so expensive and just not worth the huge amount they charge.

  It was an interesting tour Ear phones were a little too loud And driver's speech to fast and difficult to understand in English Still we enjoyed the trip.

  Very informative tour. We did both the Yellow & Red Lines. No trouble with queues at any of the stops. A great way to get your bearings when visiting a city for the first time. Thought $65SGD per person was slightly high though.

  We found the bus service very good As am disabled they let my get on first so that I could get seat down stairs.The evening tour was good and I liked the light show.

  I've done the HOHO several times in several cities and counties. Because of info I got from a friend, I stayed in The Sultan Hotel in Singapore. She let me know that the HOHO bus picked up right outside. This was very convenient. The bus worked most of the time. We booked the night tour to see the lights. Instead ,we were taken to a new reservoir and told about desalination after an uphill climb.( which was difficult for many!) We had two buses and we rode on the top of the bus. We had to meet at their hub, Suntec Center at 5:45pm. It was extremely hot and humid. At 8:15pm , we drove to the Gardens By The Bay for the 8:45 light show and symphony. Once there, we had to hike quite aways in the park. Our tour guide, Roger, had us on poorly lit walkways and lot or stairs to get to his "perfect viewing place". It was on a dark walkway. He kept telling us to " move down". Then he told us to "sit down". We were sitting on a rocky bank. There was no breeze and after we had to " move down", we couldn't see a third of the flowered lights in the show. I would say that the average age of our group was 75. We were sweating profusely. We hiked backed to the bus, once again on poorly lit pathways and stairs. Everyone onboard was drenched in sweat, as it was hot and humid, and we had been walking so far. They had a cooler of cold water on board with a "$2" sign on it. Given the age and the conditions, it would have been prudent to offer a cold bottle of water to everyone for free. It was even mentioned. On the way back to the Suntec Center, Roger asked everyone where they were staying. They proceeded to zigzag across town and dropped everyone off within walking distance of their hotels. When he asked us where we were staying, his answer was "We don't go over there!" I asked how we were supposed to get back to our hotel, his answer was "Walk over the bridge and call a taxi" We had no idea what he meant. He proceeded to take us back to the bus lot at the Suntec Center. When we got off, we asked what we were supposed to do then. We were told to go through the Center and out the front doors and call a taxi.. By now it had to be close to 10pm. We didn't know that arriving taxi's couldn't do rop off their fares and pick us up. We were tired, exhausted, hot and left with few options. We finally went to the Yakatori restaurant in front of the Center and asked for help. A waiter, with support from his boss, called a taxi and paid for the ride back to our hotel. We paid the waiter and offered a tip, but he declined any extra money. His kindness was almost; overwhelming after Roger just told us " it's not that far, you could probably walk"! We didn't even know what direction the hotel was from there. We didn't let this ruin our time in Singapore. We had used it all day Saturday and again on Sunday. We didn't allow this one employee to ruin our trip in a city where the people are so kind and helpful. It was my third trip to Singapore, and I hope to return, someday. This individual DID NOT represent the rest of the drivers and ticket agents we encountered. Everyone else was helpful and very nice! One bad apple, I guess!

  Well worth doing early in your stay in Singapore. Two routes covered. One round older parts of the city and one around modern areas. Can buy 1 day pass as well.
