  This was by far the best excursion we’ve ever done! Miexia was punctual and we were amazed what we were able to do in a day! You wouldn’t be able to do this solo! Whether you’re in Kona or Hilo if you don’t spend a day with Miexia via Ohana Tours you are losing out! He is so entertaining and knowledgeable! He is Ohana and you will not want the day to end!   It was the best tour I have ever been on anywhere. Miexia was so knowledgeable about the island and brought us to so many beautiful places. If you only do one tour on the big island, this is the one.

  Bring warm clothes and rain gear. Eating options were minimal. Leon was very knowledgeable and kept the tour moving and interesting.

  Amazing experience! Got picked up at my hostel and then we headed to the coffee farm. We could taste some coffees. We then headed to a popular place to see the ocean and we even saw a whale in the distance! We saw turtles at a black sand beach. We went to a chocolate factory with delicious chocolate and macadamia nuts. We have seen two waterfalls. It was amazing to see the other side of big island because I stayed on the Kona side. Tour guide was amazing. Very kind and he could tell a lot about Hawaii and the places we have been to!

  This tour is a very good overview of the Big Island. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about the island, Hawaiian culture and very personable for the entire trip. It takes a whole day but is well worth it. We highly recommend it!

  Miexia was THE man! 🚐🌴 Took us on a full-on adventure around the entire island and somehow made every stop better than promised. Everything the package says you’ll do? Yep, plus bonus magic. The stops were fantastic, the sights were unreal, and DO NOT skip the mac nut chocolate and coco coffee… life-changing 🤌☕🍫 Pro tip: give Miexia a hard time before he gives you a hard time 😂 … all part of the fun. Absolute blast from start to finish. I’d 100% do this again the second I’m back on the Big Island!

  We had an amazing experience on this tour and I can’t recommend it enough. Our guide was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and you could really tell how much he cares about what he does. He was right on time, super organized, and made everything feel easy and relaxed from start to finish. Even though we needed to stay on a schedule, he was more than happy to take small detours and make brief stops at places I wanted to see along the way, which made the experience feel very personal and not rushed at all. He shared so much interesting information about Hawaii and the local culture, and made the whole day both fun and informative. If you’re looking for a tour that’s well-run but still flexible and thoughtful, this is it.
