5.00Our Ohana tour on the Big Island was unforgettable! Nishe, our guide, was fantastic—super knowledgeable, fun, and full of great tips and food recommendations. We loved visiting a small coffee farm, a cozy town bakery, stunning black sand beach, powerful waterfalls (thanks to mountain rain!), and the lava flows and steam vents at Volcanoes National Park. Because our group was small, we even had extra surprise stops. This tour gave us a perfect mix of local culture, history, and breathtaking scenery. Highly recommend!

5.00Trip was 10/10…. Driver / owner Leon was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable . Would highly recommend.. trip was longer than expected and couldn’t be more happy about it. Toured the whole island with many stops along the way. Mercedes sprinter van was clean and comfortable. No complaints at all! Thanks again Leon !

5.00An absolute EXPERIENCE. Leon was our tour guide and couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. It was an all day experience. We learned so much about Hawaii and got to experience local places for food. The areas we visited were beautiful. Ohana Tours was beyond great, we loved their van and the space provided for us. Leon was able to provide us with an experience that truly felt like being with family. I would highly recommend and will be coming back upon future returns to Hawaii!

5.00If you are seeking to really soak in and understand the culture I would suggest this tour! You will see all of the various places that the big island has to offer! It is a long day but so very worth it. Our tour guide, "cousin" Leon, was AMAZING! He made my husband and I feel like family! So extremely knowledgeable and helpful answering all of our questions and even providing insight to great restaurants, excursions, etc. Not just on the big island but also for the other islands!! I could not have purchased a better tour. They care about their customers and traveling during the slower month of October, even with only 2 other people on our tour, HE DIDN'T CANCEL! Every stop was well planned out and he cares enough to include smaller local family run businesses in the tour which were HIDDEN GEMS!! He always had enough time to soak in each experience and the stories were never ending! I left the day feeling like I truly knew Leon and his family...nothing beats having a true native of the land as your guide! I would definitely do this tour again and will be letting all of my friends know that plan to come to the island!

5.00Had a wonderful tour experience with Ohana Tours. Leon is very knowledgeable and personable and kept us entertained from the beginning of the tour to the end. The highlight of the tour for me was the black sand beach and the turtle sighting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience both sides of the Big Island.

5.00Miexia was an amazing tour guide for our private tour to the Big Island of Hawaii! He is extremely personable, engaging, and friendly. We learned so much about Hawaiian culture, nature, flora & fauna, and history throughout each of the beautiful excursions of the day. Miexia effortlessly made authentic connections with each of us and engaged us all in interesting conversations through the entire tour. The van was very clean, comfortable, air-conditioned, and Miexia provided complementary water bottles for everyone. This was a truly memorable and fun experience. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. I highly recommend Ohana Tours!

He was hilarious, smart, and incredibly charming—keeping both the kids and adults entertained the entire time. As a mom, I appreciated how he connected with each of us, making the tour fun, educational, and stress-free. He shared fascinating stories about the island’s history, culture, and nature, while also making us laugh nonstop. Our daughters adored him, and my husband and I felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. Miexia truly made our trip unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for better!

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This Hawaiian Island tour was absolutely incredible! The entire day was seamless, and they truly thought of everything to make it special. Stargazing with hot cocoa at the end was the highlight and easily the best part of our whole trip. Highly recommend!

5.00When we went on our vacation, we really wanted to try fun activities and thought a tour would be fun. Leon made the entire experience way more than fun. He was so friendly and funny. It was like doing a tour with your best friend from high school. Our destinations were too notch! There were stops on the tour I would never have thought to stop on my own. Amazing all the way around. We are planning another vacation to Hawaii and are specifically planning another tour with Leon!

5.00The Big Island Circle Island Tour was the highlight of our trip to Hawai‘i. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, covering many of the island’s most iconic sights, including Volcanoes National Park, Punaluʻu Black Sand Beach, Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, and a stop at a Kona coffee farm. Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Hawaiian history and culture. Each stop was well-paced, giving us enough time to enjoy the scenery and take photos without ever feeling rushed. The transportation was very comfortable, and the small group size made the tour feel personal and relaxed. This is a long day, but absolutely worth it if you want to see the best of the island in one trip. I highly recommend the Circle Island Tour to anyone visiting the Big Island. Ohana Tours really made us feel like family.
