5.00Getting to see manta rays up close in their natural habitat was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. They're massive, graceful, and somehow both thrilling and calming to watch at the same time. The crew did an amazing job making everyone feel safe, comfortable, and prepared, which allowed us to fully enjoy the experience. Being just inches away from these incredible animals while they glided and flipped through the water was pure magic. Without a doubt, one of the coolest things I've ever done and a memory I'll be talking about for years. Highly recommend adding this to your bucket list if you're ever on the Big Island!

5.00Amazing close ups of Manta rays! Boat ride was a bit longer than expected. Guide & assistants were friendly, informative & helpful. Being 77 I won’t do it again but highly recommend to others!

5.00What a great experience!! Well organized operation from start to finish. Seeing these amazing Manta Rays this close was just amazing. We saw plenty of them during our excursion and they will get up close and even bump you a wing as they glide by. Water was a little rough so it made for a decent physical workout, so be prepared for that possibility. Only regret was not having an GoPro type camera to capture the memory of it all. And shout out to Boat Captain Aiden, he was hilarious and informative and made it worth a return trip.

4.00Firstly, we need to always remember that mother nature does whatever she wants! So, to only see two Manta Rays is not the direct fault of the tour operator. Luckily one did swim up close and turn majestically - but that was it. However, there are some issues here. Firstly, this experience is popular - there were many, many other boats in the area and a lot of people in the water. The fast ride to the site in their high-powered boat was fun. When there - you get in the water and everyone holds on to these floating rafts. And there were a lot of them! One of the guides basically tries to pull 24 people around the bay to find rays. A very full bay with hundreds of people all doing the same. No wonder the rays are sparse. All that noise and activity! They fight thru the crowds endlessly looking for rays! Time passes quickly and the moment we saw the main ray sweeping past - everyone was told to swim back to the boat and that was that! Snacks and drinks are provided - but the moment everyone was on board - engines are fired and the high speed trip back begins. Everyone is trying to dry off and get changed - but no, off we go! Rush rush! Snacks and drinks! Impossible. Not handed round and the boat ride is fast and bumpy so you can’t move around. With only two crew there is only so much they can do. And the reason for the rush…another group waiting back at dock at 9pm for another tour. We left late, they had to put the boat in the water - check people in, issue wet suits and more. Ages spent looking for a ray - then back for the next group. I still gave 4 stars. Why….well as I said - if we had seen more ray’s then of course your opinion changes. That’s not their fault. But if I was to rate their organisational skills, the fact that there are so many boats and people - I would say 2 stars! We have done other water based trips where the company and crew were magnificent and professional. This was not. However, the two guys tried their best and were genuine in their efforts. The trip needs more time and a bit more organising! Would I go again - yes! But with another company and perhaps one that operates out of the bay where the rays are found.
