  Totally enjoyed the chair lift ride. The schooner ride was fun but short. It really picks up speed at the end of the ride. We enjoyed just hanging out at the top and taking in the views. The zip lines are short but fun. The flying Dutchman was fun as well.

  The Rainforest Adventure was one of the highlights of our trip. We were a little confused with instructions at first but the workers were extremely friendly and made sure we were on the right path. We started with tubing, it was similar to a water slide but better. The lift that takes you up the mountain let us enjoy sights of the island we wouldn’t have normally saw, was comfortable and was secure. We did the small zip lines before going to the Flying Dutchman, and for someone who is nervous in those situations the workers again were the reason that anxiety left. They were having fun, had positive attitudes, and were joking around with everyone which made any anxiety disappear. Last but not least, The Flying Dutchman. When you get to the top it’s hard to not let any of your anxiety show, but the harness structure felt extremely secure and once you get going it is so much fun. If you’re are looking for a couple hour thing to do on the island this is highly recommended, the sights you’re able to see going through this attraction are unmatched. And how often are you going to be able to say you went down the biggest zip line in the world? If you’re questioning it, don’t you won’t regret this!

  This adventure was just that, an adventure in patience, lack of communication and direction. Started out bad from the beginning, with a lot of poor communication and lack of direction from the time we arrived. Arrived @ 1010 EST and was told to wait in this big group. Lots of people standing around not in any formed line. There were a lot of people arriving by bus and taxis and no one providing any information. I found a worker and told them I had a reservation and he stated I needed go back online and fill out a waiver and receive some QR code. We finished that process and found the same worker who told me that we now had to go to the pay window and receive our armbands. Of course, there was about 20 people in the big group standing in front of the one pay window that was in operation. No lines.!! Finally received our arm bands and the funniest part was that no one ever looked whether or not we actually completed the waiver. The whole experience was frustrating. Hope you plan on a whole day experience, because to do the “Big Three,” took us 5 1/2 hours from the time we left our hotel until we got back to the hotel. Our hotel was only 15 mins away by taxi, which was the easiest part of the entire experience. Let you know the easiest part of our day and now the most frustrating part of the day and whole experience was the extremely long wait of 2-1/2 hours to ride the “Flying Dutchman.” We would definitely not recommend this experience. Save your money and your valuable vacation time. Go somewhere else!!

• Cruise Ship Passengers Allowed to Cut Hours Long Line

  We selected this excursion based on the recommendations of friends and coworkers. We wish we had known in advance that Rain Forest Adventures has contracts with the various cruises, and prioritizes those contracts over individuals. We had paid for an 11 am entry time, but were not down the mountain until after 4 pm. While the views were spectacular, the Flying Dutchman was a 40 second experience. Definitely not worth the price or the wait. Furthermore, during the three hours we were stuck at the top waiting, there were dozens of stinging insects swarming the trash cans from the bar. We wish we had brought our epi pens. If you decide to go, please check which cruises are in port. Some days are lighter than others. Even if you are in line, the Rainforest Adventure staff will allow all the cruise passengers to cut you to get down the mountain faster, as they have buses waiting at the bottom to return them to port. We loved the views at the top, but the load ratio was worse than Disney World on a bad day. Only two zip liners descend at a time, and it is a very slow load.

  Went with my wife to spend a day of adventure! The tube ride was very mild, and the tree top zipl lines were fine, but the flying Dutchman was a truly unique experience! Apparently the "steepest zipline in the world". There is a wait for the flying Dutchman, and cruise passengers have priority, since they are on a timed schedule. There is a bar at the top and some of the most incredible views of the island. The small museum near the entrance is very informative as well and we found the gift shop reasonably priced.

  There was no guide, no tour operator, no meeting. This tour description is totally misleading, since it suggests someone is going to accompany you, as you can see here in uppercase: “The tour operator reserves the right to REFUSE service to passengers who are intoxicated.” “Language: English - GUIDE”. In the official webpage, the tour costs 10% less, so I was expecting at least a guided tour through the Emilio Wilson Museum, something more than just the same tour offered by the company itself. Elite Shore Tours didn’t answer my text messages ever. Very disappointed. This didn’t meet my expectations at all.

  The actual activities are amazing and take a total of 1.5 hrs. The experience took us about 6 hours, however, because we spent the rest of the time in lines and waiting on the cable car. The only way to get to each activity is the cable car. If you're okay waiting 4.5 hours for 1.5 hours of activity, you would probably be fine. Bringing kids however, this was stressful and not worth or time. If they run it better, provide more efficient ways to get from each activity to the next, even a walking path,or limit the amount of people on an activity so you don't have to wait in line so long for everything, including the cable car, it would be more enjoyable.

  Beautiful view! However the wait times were insane the staff were not very organized! And some of the staff hassled you for tip saying you have to tip here! We told them we had already tipped at the top of the ride! Very off putting, considering the cost of admission already!
