Our Mountain bike trip takes you along the base of the Arenal volcano, and beautiful Lake Arenal, Offering the perfect combination to pedal in unique environments, resulting in an extraordinary adventure.

Explore and discover Costa Rica by water and land enjoying the unique experience of mountain biking through the lush forest surrounding the lake at the base of the volcano, and gliding across the mystic waters of the Arenal lake all while reveling in the extraordinary beauty of the Arenal Volcano.

You will set out on your kayak for about 2 hours exploring the lake shore and it islands in quest for local birds such as; Ospreys, Kingfishers, Neotropical Cormorants, Aningas and mammals such as; howler monkeys, spider monkeys, white-nosed coatis or sloths.

Once you are finished kayaking you will relax lakeside and enjoy a light picnic before setting out on your mountain biking adventure through natural paths, traditional Costa Rican neighborhoods and small rivers

Fantastic! We really enjoyed our day. They picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back. We went cycling first and then kayaking after.

Great time on the combo bike + kayak trip with Cato! We found these guys via Airbnb. They were very professional, had everything ready to go. The bike trial was mostly rocky trails by the national park - very few cars. Wonderful views of the volcano on both parts of the trip. Could t believe we didn't see more kayakers, as the view from the lake was gorgeous. All in all a great way to spend 4.5 hours. Note that it's not a tour in the guided tour sense, just in the sense of them setting everything up for you, coming with you and showing you where to go. Cato was great about going at the pace of the slowest member of our group so no one felt like they were struggling.
