Enjoy a boat ride around the bay watching a beautiful sunset or sunrise as you head to a marine wildlife sanctuary to watch birds and swim in bioluminescence at nightfall.
Just imagine you look like you're swimming in the stars or the sky.
Bioluminescence is an event where phytoplankton shines in the water, manifests as blue light, it is something you should definitely live once in your life!!
We have departures at dawn in case the dates you want to reserve is full moon time.
Limit group size: 14 people

We will set off by boat to the marine park the arches On our way you can observe a magical sunset or sunrise overlooking the bay and take great photos. We will tour the park as we explain all the history and information of this marine sanctuary. We will wait until night falls to observe bioluminescence, a magical event that gives us nature that every person must live at least once in his life -Under 9 years old cannot attend for security No babies in arms for safety

5.00This was a great tour! Alex was fabulous and very flexible! We saw whales along the ride and he gave us choices between following them or continuing on. The experience is something truly unique. We learned a lot about the birds and Alex does some great bird calls! The tour is small as is the boat. We didnt have problems, but I'd caution anyone who may get seasick to take the warning about dramamine seriously!

5.00This excursion to Los Arcos Park was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico! From start to finish, it was an incredible experience. The boat tour itself was so much fun, and the guides truly made it special—they were friendly, engaging, and incredibly informative. Along the way, they showed us the stunning cave system and pointed out the birds and wildlife in the area, including blue-footed boobies, which was amazing to see up close. The scenery alone was worth the trip. The best part was when we geared up with life vests and snorkel equipment and jumped off the boat into the ocean to experience the bioluminescence firsthand. As we moved our arms and legs through the water, the plankton lit up around us—it felt absolutely magical. Seeing the water glow with every movement was something I’ll never forget. Such a unique and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! 🌊✨

5.00Alexandro was the best guide! We were able to see bioluminescence in january, it is a must to go swimming in the water. I am not a great swimmer, but it is super safe and an unforgettable experience seeing the plankon on your skin

5.00Victor was a great tour guide. It is also whale season in PV. Our boat captain and tour guide saw a whale off in the distance and we went a little off track to watch him. It was amazing to watch the sunset while also watching a whale breaching several times. After spending 15 mins following the whale we continued on to Los Arcos for the bioluminescence. The entire tour was an unforgettable moment and I would highly recommend it. ❤️❤️🐋

5.00Great experience highly recommend! We had a perfect dark cloudy night to be able to see the bioluminescence clearly and we unexpectedly got a whale watching tour as we were able to view 3 whales on our way there, as well as a couple of sea turtles so we really lucked out! The only unfortunate thing is when they warn of sea sickness take their word for it and bring something even if you don’t think you’ll need it as 3 out of our group of 5 ended up feeling sick when the boat was stopped and rocking in the waves. Overall it was really fun and our guides were very knowledgeable about the nature and sea life and shared some of their previous experiences with the whales showing photos and videos and even went as far as to airdrop some of the videos to us which was really nice of them! We also got to see endangered birds known as blue footed boobies and their feet are actually bright blue it was amazing! 10/10 a must do if you are in Puerto Vallarta or area ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00Amazing experience, Alex our tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable, a tough swim into the caves because of the weather but well worth it once we got there and I was able to see the glow in the pitch black. Bonus points for seeing the humpback whales! Would recommend to anyone in the area

5.00Such a magical experience. As other reviews have said it's not like swimming in a nebula like some of the pictures show. If you don't actually get in the water, it's more like a light evening of fireflies in the water. But if you actually get in the water, it's like swimming with the stars. Our guide Alex was lovely. Very passionate about wildlife and he brought that enjoyment to the group. My 10 year old daughter was with me, and he gave us extra help when swimming in the cave.

5.00Victor was our guide. He was kind and very knowledgeable. It was terrific to be out with someone who specialized in marine biology. It was a small group which was great and such a peaceful and magical way to end off our trip. I would recommend this excursion as a great mini escape from the high energy that we experienced a lot of in PV. It would be a great multigenerational outing as well
