Enjoy a boat ride around the bay watching a beautiful sunset or sunrise as you head to a marine wildlife sanctuary to watch birds and swim in bioluminescence at nightfall.
Just imagine you look like you're swimming in the stars or the sky.
Bioluminescence is an event where phytoplankton shines in the water, manifests as blue light, it is something you should definitely live once in your life!!
We have departures at dawn in case the dates you want to reserve is full moon time.
Limit group size: 14 people

We will set off by boat to the marine park the arches On our way you can observe a magical sunset or sunrise overlooking the bay and take great photos. We will tour the park as we explain all the history and information of this marine sanctuary. 5.00What a fun and awesome experience! Our tour guide was Alex and our captain was Angel. We were so happy to have Alex as our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell that he really cares and has respect for the sea life and animals that live and inhabit the area, and even though it was a bioluminescence tour, we were blessed to also see the magnificent humpback whales! Captain Angel with his wonderful boating skills got us to them in a quick and safe manner. I also loved that they would play music to make the atmosphere more upbeat and fun. 10/10 recommend this experience. Thank you Alex and Angel for a memorable time out on the water and sharing your knowledge with us!

5.00The experience was thrilling and spectacular. Our guide, Alex, was the best. Thanks to his knowledge and patience, we got to have the best whale watching we’ve ever had along the way, seeing several whale breachings. He was a master at explaining Los Arcos to us, and teaching us about the birds, especially the Blue footed boobies (called bobos here), that we thought were only in the Galapagos! On to the bioluminescence — snorkeling in it will be an unforgettable experience. Waving our hands around in the sparkles was viscerally exciting. It was a first class experience, and Alex was a first class guide.

5.00Victor and his boat captain were fantastic! The bioluminescent swim was incredible and they even got us close to a pod of blue whales on the way to the swim. Victor was incredibly knowledgeable and had a really great playlist (bonus points). Highly recommended and the price was reasonable.

5.00A true adventure is when you don’t know exactly what you’re going to get. You trust a guide and trust some reviews and just go for it. This is that! What you are going to see is not really photographable and yet it is one of the most magical, wonderful things you will ever see. To get there, you will have to take a deep breath and jump into the dark ocean with your guide and (probably) a group of strangers. Just do it! Take that leap! These guys are super knowledgeable, friendly and care a great deal about your safety and comfort. We were even able to have a “side quest” on our adventure, as we saw not one but two humpback whales on our cruise out to Los Arcos. It only added to the magic. A highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

5.00Viktor was an excellent guide, explaining the birds and sea creatures we were seeing. Our boat’s captain (did not catch his name, but I think the boat had Lily in the name) did a great job positioning us where we could see. The swimming portion was delightful. There was no moon, so we could definitely see the bioluminescence. The stars were amazing too. Oh, and we saw a lovely sunset on the way there.
Nighttime Los Arcos is a completely different kind of beautiful

5.00The experience itself was so cool--I had seen Los Arcos during the day, and it was magical then. Seeing it at night was like having its little magic power revealed. The bioluminescent plankton are like little fireflies in the water that light up with the movement of your arms and legs. And Alex the guide was friendly, sweet, and so informative.

5.00Victor was friendly and greeted us at our meeting downtown PV location. Easy walk down to the marina and on to the boat. Saw turtles and humpback whales on our way to Los Arcos. You can tell he is passionate about this job. Explained all about the plankton, the Los Arcos National Park, the wildlife and the history. He even got in the water w us and was very down to earth. Really loved the mask part bc it totally made the experience worthwhile. Thoughtful they brought towels and water for us once we got out. I do not think the water was cold for December at 7pm w the sun down. Would highly recommend this excursion.
